#248 Raising a hat to cooler weather!

 No I haven't disappeared off the edge of the earth, but my poor old pc and I had to take a break  as neither of us deal with the heat very well, and the last week has been unbearable.  So, first waft of cool air and me and pc are back on the blogging trail.

The prop I am using today is from WetCat and comes with 8 poses plus the hat which rezzes at the appropriate place for each pose (and can be adjusted if necessary)

This gorgeous jumpsuit is from Cracked Mirror (CM) , comes in 5 standard sizes plus fitmesh which I am wearing here - and I was thrilled at how it fit like a dream right away - fitted mesh has definitely come a long way!

My skin is Claudia, the brand new full release from Belleza, and she is stunning.  I did a little happy dance when I saw that there were two shades of red eyebrow in each makeup.  I am wearing the light, plus the optional freckles layer.

My shoes are new from [LG] K-Collection and as always they have done a fantastic texturing job.  The Hud that comes with it gives you the choice of 10 main textures, 4 heel/platform textures and 2 inner sole textures

#247 You can't take the sky

To show you another Hair Fair 2014 item I decided to go to the beach and wear the new string bikini from Sn@tch.  You get 8 colour choices in the pack and you get the unrigged separate top and bottom or the whole rigged bikini in one (which I am using).

#246 Bandanas, Bandanas, Bandanas!

Hey Kitty Mama, we haz the same earz!

One of my favourite parts of Hair Far is picking up some new bandanas - there are always such a great selection available and at only 50L each, with all profits to Wigs for Kids, you can grab a wide variety without guilt.  I usually buy a bunch then run back again before the fair finishes and grab some more.  

There are so many good ones to choose from, it was hard to decide - and I am a Libran, so any kind of decision making is an ordeal - but here are my choices this time.  I had to share the above pic showing the bandana by Callie Cline of Kittycats, with one of my kittycats, of course!

On the left we have The girly and pretty Rebakery with Zoeware's Cuppiecake Princess bandana (complete with flashing cupcake), and on the right one of my absolute favourites is Guardian Angel by Bizarre Hair which is beautiful and serene and obviously made with real love and care.

I do like a silly bandana, and here are a few I picked up this time.  The very silly but fun Flair Snail by Sasy Scarborough and Thinking Cap by Theodore Avery Grey (resized as it is not meant for adult avvies).

 I love the very pretty bandana called Under the Sea by Entice, and the extremely cute silly panda by LNS Designs.

The award for the "OMG I have to have it and never take it off again" bandana goes to the L & N Spyder, which is an absolute masterpiece - the antennae move and I  just love love love it.  At some point I must find an outfit that will complement it, and blog it.  Apologies to arachnophobes out there, but honestly, this bandana is great.

#245 A bunch of delicious carrots from Hair Fair 2014

Today I decided to show some of the long hair available at Hair Fair 2014, and there is plenty of it for anyone who likes long locks.  In this first pic, we have Sileny from Alice Project, and Blown Away by Exile.  Both beautifully made from two of the best long hair makers in sl (in my opinion anyway)

Next we have a "new to me" designer, Fiore.  I really like the simple side plaiting and the wispy bits of hair, and the reds available via the hud system are lovely.  On the right is Mina's Sophia, I really like Mina's way with long hair as well as her choice of colours - you get a materials version in the pack as well as the non-materials I have shown.

Although this post is really about the hair, i wanted to show my outfit, which is one of my absolute favourites.  It is from Has Been and comes with huds for both top and belt allowing 9 different texture choices.  

My shoes from LivGlam come with a hud allowing 64 (yes, 64!) different colours, and also come in a choice of black, silver or gold studded shoes - I am wearing the silver.  So you actually get (gets her calculator out) 192 pairs of shoes!).

There is just a week to left to get along to Hair Fair 2014, snag the freebies and dollarbies and most importantly, buy yourself some new hair or bandanas, knowing that a percentage of your payment is going to the wonderful charity, Wigs for Kids.  If ever there was a reason to get out your SL wallet, this is it.  You will find a list of shops and landmarks here.

#244 Zsa gets spiky at Hair Fair 2014

Today I am showing you Adoness's hairstyles for Hair Fair 2014.  I am a big fan of Cruella Pennell's punky styles, and always have fun dressing up for them.  I love the shaved bases she provides, and each of the bases for these styles is quite different, so you can mix and match and create plenty of new looks.

Although all three styles are punky/spiky/shaved, the styles are very different.  Adoness also have a dollarbie out at Hair Fair, I just forgot to take a pic along with these.

My outfit from Liv-Glam comes with a texture change hud giving 3 choices, and also comes in fitmesh options - I am wearing the fitmesh top and it fits like a dream.  My polish is from one of two sets available at the current round of Cosmopolitan Sales Room, but it finishes tomorrow (the 19th) so you need to be quick to snap them up

#243 Tricia feels Cherished

The Hair Fair 2014 goodie I am showing today is from a new-to-me store, +elua+, and I love everything about it.  The textures are beautiful, as is the detailing on the plait, and the little wispy hairs around the face and ears just set the whole "do" off to perfection.  I am sure this is one I will wear again and again.  Below I show two more views to give you an idea of how pretty this hair really is.  I chose the red pack which comes with a hud giving you a choice of 5 textures, and you also get 2 hairbases.

My necklace and earrings (sold separately) are new from Maxi Gossamer at FaMESHed , and I think it is actually my favourite ever release from Maxi, and considering how often I wear her jewellery, that is really saying something.  You get 4 very different earring options in the pack, and a necklace and choker in that pack, all with texture change options for beads/metals.

I have chosen to wear Has Been's new release which is being debuted at a new event called Fresh Style, with this hair as I was feeling a kind of 60's vibe with the slight beehive, so this really cute mini with matching shoes in all kinds of candy/ice cream colours just seemed perfect.  The dress is fitted mesh and comes in three sizes.  

The dress comes with a hud allowing you to choose from 12 texture options, with the ability to change 4 parts of the dress separately - for some reason the shots that ended up here all show bodice and skirt parts the same colour but you can have them different colours - I was just playing with colour options as I took shots.  The shoes come with a hud giving the same 12 texture options, and the ability to change 6 different parts of the shoe separately.

#242 Bunny, me, and my phone makes three

I am still putting my house together, but I reckon I have knocked down enough walls, added enough windows etc, so I can concentrate a little more on decorating now.

I still have a lot to do (all those little knick-knacks that make a house a home, even in sl) but got tired and sat down for a rest with a new friend  from MOoH! (previously FBD) who is one of the 7 commons available at the Gatcha Garden - there are also 3 rares.  He is 11 prims, and comes with 6 animations.  He is beautifully made, totally adorable, and he is staying to keep my kittycats company when I am not there!

The poses and phone used in these two photos are from KaTink - there are four Selfie packs available, all coming with a phone prop for both the right and left hand, also one plain (as I am using here) and one where you can drop a pic of your own.  It comes with a hud allowing you to choose between 18 phone case textures and 7 screen textures.

My outfit from LivGlam consists of a short and top set, the top coming with a hud for 3 diffferent textures, and some really cute flats which come with 10 different textures via hud,   

My hair is from Hair Fair 2014 which opened on Saturday - go, fight the lag, it is SO worth it! My eyes are from a new-to-me designer, are absolutely stunning, and almost as sparkling as his facebook name!  They come with a ton of options size wise, including petite, and also in mesh, prim and system options.

#241 "You're the one that I want!"

I have been trying to put together a post using *~*HopScotch*~*''s fantastic rock set for Rhapsody all week but I have been having one of those blogger block weeks where nothing looked right. 

Then I saw the new group gift from  ::Sn@tch, immediately had visions of Olivia Newton John in Grease, and voila! Ok, Olivia didn't actually play air guitar, but I bet she would have if she could have.

Chandni's fantastic Rock your World set is 100% original mesh, textures and poses and comes with the stage as shown (you can see more of it on my flickr page, super troupers and all, at the link below the credits).  I love the spotlights, but for the closer photos I have edited the set and unlinked and derendered the lights just to show you the clothes clearer.  

There are three positions on stage, so you can pose with friends, or pose yourself middle, left or right.  Each position comes with 14 unisex poses.  You also get two microphones and five different background textures.

The :::Sn@tch gift of leggings and crop top comes in 7 colours in standard sizes, and the choker in black as shown.

The seriously sexy shoes from Liv Glam come with a texture change hud with 7 textures for straps and toebox and 8 for the heel.  The -{ZOZ}- piano key nails are great, and again can be picked up at Rhapsody .

Rhapsody finishes on the 12th so you really need to hot foot it down there and get some fabulous goodies.
