Whoops

Anyone who knows Zsa, will be aware that she has a bit of a house obsession in sl, and is forever changing homes.  So when I saw this set from Reina Photography I just had to use it.   Zsa actually thinks I have arranged for removal men to help her unpack but I forgot, and they just dropped her boxes outside her new front door.  Whoops, sorry Zsa🤭.

At least she looks good

Zsa's gorgeous blouse is brand new from Just Because at Uber, as is her earring and necklace set from Cae.  The blouse comes in a beautiful selection of colours, a separate print pack and a fatpack which includes both plains and prints.  The choice of prints is wonderful, making it very hard for this Libran to decide which to wear.  There is also a hud included to change the colour of the strings and toggle them on and off.

Zsa's pants are a brand new mainstore release from Blueberry, and come in the usual cutibootie and Blueberrybootie choices, and a huge variety of denim and leather options.  I particularly love the creasing on these, so realistic and easy to wear.

My mood in real life has been pretty dark recently, just real life stuff I won't bore you with.  Anyway, although I am one of the rare breed who is not a Halloween fan, when I saw this set from Reina Photography it fit my mood so well that I thought I would build this post round it.

Not that it is only good for Halloween, this set would work anytime you wanted something a bit dark.  It comes with everything you see, including Pose, and also a sky Backdrop which I didn't use.

Spikes

Oh my goodness, this hair from Cruella Pennell of Adoness is just perfection. Although I gravitate towards vintage, classy, formal, casual, preppy styling, I do have quite a strong inner goth/punk (it's an age thing I think), so whenever Cruella comes up with something new it always inspires and challenges me, which I love.  She has really outdone herself with this one, the spikiness is so well done, and having the actual hair as a base rather than a shaved base really adds another dimension.

Ophidiophilia

Today I am wearing another fabulous creation from Annie Melson of Just Because, and wow, wow, wow.  Annie has created a simply stunning gown that gives you curves a screen siren would be jealous of, and then topped it with a snake slinking it's way round the bodice.  Not just any old snake either, a texture change snake, so you can match, blend or contrast your snake to your gown, or your hair, or eyes, as you wish.  I will wear it next time I go out dancing, and I am sure it will turn many heads - and maybe send any Ophidiophobics running for the nearest exit, whoops.

The Window

My dress today is brand new by DE Designs for the Mesh Body Addicts bi-monthly event - it comes in a wide array of beautiful colours, and in each box you get both the sweater dress I am wearing here and a shorter length sweater.  I love it when designers give us different wear options.  The dress and sweater are of course beautifully made mesh pieces which fit my Lara like a dream.

The lighting I am using in these photos is the brand new beta from Lumipro.  I quite simply could not take pics in sl now without Lumipro, and the new version brings some tweaks and tricks that make it even more fantastic.  To learn a bit more about the new version, take a look at the video here, and if you have never seen Lumipro before take a look at some of the other videos, it really is an invaluable tool for bloggers and photographers in sl.

Floating

The cloud Zsa is floating on is the Seeds of Insiration prize when you play the Hopscotch gacha at Gacha Garden 20 times - the other prizes are rezzable clouds in lots of cute shapes.

My jacket/tank and jeans/capris are from RealEvil Industries. The jacket comes with an integral tank, and the jeans can be switched to capris with a click of the hud, so it is a really versatile outfit.  The textures are flawless and I am sure this is an outfit I will wear to death!

My nail and eye make up are both from the new round of Applique, which opens tomorrow, the 11th, and my lips from Alaskametro were at On9 but will soon be on the marketplace.

My eyes are from the brand new set by Avi-Glam, Melancholia, available at Sad November.  I am wearing the Lapis on my Catwa eyes using my Omega applier hud.  I didn't think Kendra could out-do her Serene eyes but she has, these new eyes are truly stunning.

I have changed my hair for the close up simply because I love this new hair from Exile for Collabor88 so much that I couldn't resist wearing it although I had already taken the full body pic with different hair.

Candy

My outfit today comprises separate bodysuit, leggings and straps by Just Because.  It is a brand new mainstore release, and comes in solid colours as well as 4 skeletons.  I couldn't resist this skeleton one, and have been wearing this since the moment I first put it on!  This is quite a change from Annie Melson's normal style, but as always it is a fabulous piece of mesh with great textures bringing it to life, and it is such fun to wear.

My lipstick and eyeshadow/eyeliner combo are both at the current round of Applique.  This is a new to me event, but as a lover of all kinds of appliers for mesh heads it is just perfect for me - not only lots of pretty stuff to play with, but also introducing me to new designers such as the ones whose makeup I am wearing here.  I should mention that they do applier clothing as well as everything you can think of for the mesh head lover.  

My poses and the skeleton stool are both from Nantra for Candy Fair which finishes tomorrow, so if you want it, you need to hurry.  It comes with 12 poses and 12 sweetie props, but I have chosen not to use it in the pic above (actually, I couldn't, because Zsa ate it).

Don't take my T-Bird away

Although I have to admit to getting a bit event-sick at times, one of the positives is finding new designers who I might otherwise not have come across. The new designer in this post is LX, with their original mesh top and bolero, currently available at the Boho Culture Fair.  Each pack contains both bolero and top in two shades, so you can mix and match.  The mesh is beautifully made and the textures stand up to close examination.  I really look forward to more from this designer.

He's Behind you!

I am bringing lots of new goodness today, with items from We Love Roleplay, Collabor88 and The Season's Story, including a free gift, and finally a $1L hunt item.

I wanted to do a close up today as I have worn this Acorn set from Cae a few times but they have not been very visible.  This is such a pretty, delicate and unusual set, and deserves to be seen.  Statement pieces have their place, but for when you want something more subtle, this little set is absolutely perfect, and of course, with it being from Cae, it is beautifully made.

My skirt and sweater, currently available at Collabor88 are the first things I have ever bought by Zenith, it fits really well, and the gauzy skirt is so pretty. They also have some cute boots available but I chose to go with some from Mon Cheri for Arcade last December, the gacha is now available in the mainstore. 

As you can tell, these pics were taken in different places - I did take a close up in the same location as I took the pic above, a spooky area set up by my friend Pet.  However, with so many trees about, the dappling of the leaves made Zsa looked like she had some kind of rare tropical disease so I dragged her inside to redo the pic.
