Forest Treasures

Considering that I always say that green is my least favourite colour, this post is a bit unexpected, but I built it around this fabulous necklace from Aze Jewellery for the current round of Genre.  Amilia Zabeleta does some of the most intricate, unique creations I have seen in sl - this necklace is breathtakingly beautiful, the metal tendril is worked exquisitely, and is adorned with treasures Amilia has found on the forest floor - ladybugs, little toadstools, a snail, and little flowers.  

My eyes are by Adoness for The Thrift shop, 50% off at just 40L per pair - I am just wearing the basic eyes, but also included in the pack for each colour are a full bright and a glow version, as well as system eyes and an alpha.

Under the Sea

The story behind this prop is best told by it's creator, by Chandni Karfield of Hopscotch:  

"This pose prop is based on the photography if Julie de Waroquier. When I saw it I had this piece of story in my mind: "After a while in the world of the two legged, she wanted to go back to the sea. But she and her prince had moved and there was no water around. Only the little bit of undersea world in the aquarium. Maybe this was the way home..."

The aquarium comes in two versions, one with glow and light effects of the water, the other without. They are modifiable so you can adjust them if you need to.  This is currently available at The Surreal Complex.

The setting is Window 2.0 by KaTink , which is a mesh item, and comes with a hud allowing you to change the texture of the walls, curtains and floor.

Dancing the Eyelash Spectacular

Something I really enjoy about blogging is finding a small item, particularly something really unusual like these fabulous eyelashes from Finesmith, and building a blog post around it - sometimes it takes a lot of thinking, experimenting, trying things on, and sometimes it all just falls together. 

In this case as soon as I tried the eyelashes on I knew I wanted to go down the pale, ethereal, fantasy path, and remembered that I had a Christmas Angel dress from Angelwing in my inventory.  Flexi they may be, but Angelwing's creations are still beautiful, and hard to beat for movement.

The eyelashes come with lots of different options, all of them spectacular, so you can play with them till you get the look you are after

Forgotten Fairy

I feel a little pensive today so thought I would steal away on my own to somewhere quiet and peaceful and share another of Angelwing's stunning 25L creations.

Frost Fairy to keep you cool

As it is so hot and humid irl now I decided I would cool down for my blog, so have combined a cooling fantasy skin and outfit.  This stunning skin is the current group gift at Aeva/Heartsick.  This is an incredibly generous gift, as it contains:

Gemmed skin in 9 tones
Eyelashes, both long and short
Shape (but I am using my own)

The outfit I have paired with this gorgeous skin is the Frost Fairy from Angelwing.  This pure white ethereal outfit has snow flakes adorning the headdress, outfit itself, and the crown, along with a snowflake belly ring, and the wings themselves which are intricately constructed of snowflakes.
