Strolling under my Umbrella

By an act of wonderful serendipity this dress and pose/prop were among different boxes I opened this morning, and I was a happy little blogger when I realised how well they would work together :).

The lovely dress is from DandelionWine and comes in a selection of beautifully textured fabrics, all shown above, and changeable via hud.  I love how muted and understated the fabrics are, and with the slight train at the back, it has a very ladlylike and feminine appeal.

The pose and umbrella are a special from *~*Hopscotch*~* for Genre which runs from 15 Dec to 12 January, with a theme of Victoriana.  *~*Hopscotch*~* has a number of items at this round of Genre, but the prop/pose shown here costs just 10L  I think it works perfectly with this dress, transporting me back to a time less complicated and more innocent.

A gown to make you drool

Is this not an incredibly beautiful gown?  I only discovered DandelionWine recently, but am already a fan, their clothing is super cute - or in this case, absolutely stunning.  I didn't even need to tweak my shape at all, the S just slipped on perfectly.

Anyone who has read a few of my posts will probably realise I am HUD fanatic, so this dress had me jumping up and down with excitement as it comes with 14 - yep, 14 - different textures - some solid colours, some gradiented, some pastels, some rich colours, there is something here for every occasion.  Some of the textures would even make a wonderful wedding dress.

As with everything in DandelionWine, this dress is 10L until 10 June, so hurry up and grab it!

For a while I have been searching for a jacket with rolled up sleeves like my old favourite "boyfriend jacket" from Dressed by Lexi, which sadly now just doesn't look right with the prim parts - for things like jackets and coats, it has to be mesh now.

So imagine how amazed I was to actually find one just like it - but even better, for just 10L - and even better than that, in the pack you get the jackets in pink and white as well as the black - and a poker face t-shirt thrown in too!  The mesh jeans are also 10L, and they have 9 pairs in total to choose from.

I have no idea how long the Dandelion Wine 10L sale will be on but there are some cute things there, well worth a visit.

It is really unusual, with lovely texturing, I love the opaque net effect at the bottom, and this dress even comes with a hud with four colour options!
