#477 Keep your face always to the sunshine and the shadows will fall behind you

Yay!  Zsa is an excited little blogger today, she has finally taken the leap and fallen in  love with her mesh head!  With mesh bodies, it took me a long time before I jumped, but when I did, I loved them so much it is inconceivable for me now to not wear one.  Same with mesh heads - I have had quite a few in my inventory gathering pixel dust for ages, but never liked the way they looked on me.  Then I tried this applier from Belleza and fell in love - I still feel like me, just a much improved me!  When I saw my system avvie after wearing this head for a day, I was quite horrified that I ever allowed myself to wander around the grid, let alone appear on this blog, looking like that!

My dress is new from Entice and I think it has a bit of a 1940's classy vibe.  You have 4 different huds to choose from, each one having 3 textures, it was a real struggle to choose, they are all lovely.  The Maitreya dress fits perfectly to my Maitreya Lara mesh body and you also get the dress in Slink, Belleza, classic and fitmesh.  They are just 99L for each hud for Super Sales Weekend which ends on the 8th

My shoes are brand new from KC Couture, and I thought they also have a vintage vibe.  They are currently available at the new round of Designer Showcase.  As always they come with a humoungous texture change hud so you can make them work with any outfit, and are also compatible with Belleza, Slink and Eve.

My necklace, earrings and bracelet are currently on offer at Indulge Temptation, but they will be changing soon, so if you want them you need to run.  There are 6 packs available, some for Sixty Linden Weekends and some for 55L Thursday.

#406 A dress on Isis is better than two in the inventory

In today's post I am wearing some newness and some "been in my inventory a while, time to blog" stuff.  My gorgeous skin is new from PXL exclusively for Festival of Sin.  Available in Sunkissed or Pale, each skin contains: 4 eyebrows color/options (embedded on the skin), Tintable Eyebrows tattoo, Freckle Tattoos (3 shading). Moles Tattoos (3 shadings), Cleavage Tattoos (2 options), 3 LipGloss shading on Tattoo, Nail eraser on a glove, SweetLips Appliers.  Appliers for Slink, Maitreya and Belleza bodies are available separately and other appliers are available in the PXL mainstore.  I have chosen the no eyebrow option and have added some from Belleza.

My lovely, easy to wear dress from DE Designs comes in both solid and patterned choices.  I am wearing the patterned in the above pics, and have shown you the other pattern options below.  Beautifully rigged, it is compatible with Belleza Venus/Isis, Maitreya and Slink, and also classic avatar fitmesh.  It fits like a dream and can be bought singly or in extremely reasonable fat packs.  

Compatible with Belleza, Slink, Maitreya and TMP, my shoes from KC Couture come with an incredibly generous hud allowing you to change every part of the shoe separately.  Next to the shoes I have shown you the solid colours of the DE Designs dress - it is hard to show, but the colours are not just bland non-textured colours, they all have a very subtle self pattern which brings life and dimension.

#403 The trumpets will not toot themselves

I am blogging slower than usual recently because of issues with SL, but I get there in the end.  A few things I am showing today are from currents events, and I really wanted to get this post done before they end - and I have, yay!  

My gorgeous hair is by Elikatira and one of two styles at the current round of Collabor88. I love that Elika has made a totally different hairstyle to any I have seen before, and she has somehow created a real sense of life and movement.  I am wearing one of the ombres from the the reds pack, and I really love this "copper plum" shading - you get 12 solid and 6 ombre in each colour pack which is great value - and even more so if you buy them at Collabor88 while discounted.  

My top is from Just Because and is one of her two items available at Uber - you can buy it in separate colours or a fatpack which comes with an extensive hud giving you a choice of solid colours or the printed option I am wearing.  It comes rigged for Belleza Freya, Isis and Venus, Maitreya Lara, Slink Physique and 5 standard sizes plus alpha.  I have paired it with a pair of Just Because jeans which again come in an wide choice of separate colours or fatpack via hud and rigged to Slink, Maitreya and Belleza (standard and curvy).

Both my dragonfly navel piercing and cute sandals are from KC Couture, and as you would expect, both come with an extensive hud allowing a myriad of texture options. #399 One can never hold too many dragons

This post initially started as a "Mad Cat Lady of SL" post due to the dress I am wearing, but then these two little dragons found their way into my inventory and they kinda hijacked my post.  They are animated, cute and from a new-to-me designer, Psycho-Byts.  

My dress is new from Somnia, and comes in three different packs - darks, lights and neons - I am wearing one of the neon pack colours.  You get 8 colour choices on each hud and can colour the bow separately.  The dress comes in the 5 standard sizes and I am wearing it on my Maitreya Lara mesh body with no issues and only very minimal alpha cuts.

The back of the dress is really cute too, with a tail and a bow - though you can choose to wear it without the bow.  My nails are also from Somnia and my first time using Omega appliers for nails, but it was SO easy!  I love how the pattern lives up to it's splatter name and is irregular so all the nails look different.  My wedges are from KC Couture and as always come with an extensive hud for maximum customisation.

I should mention that although I am using KaTink's most recent editorial set of poses, the dragons' animations changed the arm placements.

#394 Bella Poses Prettily

I have lots of lovely newness to show you today so will work from the head down.  My hair is a new release from Exile at the Hair Fair.  To be honest, I wasn't all that keen on the demo but I have a thing about messy updos so I took a chance - I am so glad I did, I love it now and am sure it will appear again on this blog.

My skin is new from PXL for The Wayward Carnival - it comes in pale and natural tones, both with new make-ups for the lovely Shara skin. Each skin pack contains dark, light, medium and no brow skins, 3 freckle tattoos, 3 mole tattoos, 2 cleavage tattoos (2 options), 3 lip gloss tattoos, nail eraser on a glove, SweetLips appliers.  I have added a lip colour simply because the lips on the skin were lovely, but didn't work with this outfit.

Also new is the PXL body freckles applier which includes 3 different tones giving the ability to match with any skin.  You get 2 densities of freckles and 2 transparencies. The appliers work with the latest mesh bodies from Maitreya, Belleza & Slink and are compatible with all skins on SL.  This hud is available at the PXL store for the MIX event.

My cute dresses from Somnia are also for Mix and are only 200L for each color set - dark or light.  they come with a hud allowing you to change the dress, belt fabric, laces and hardware separately.  I am showing the darks above and the lights below.  They are cross compatible so you can mix and match.  Although not specifically rigged for Maitreya Lara, it was easy to get them to fit with a few alpha cuts.  I know I will wear this a lot, it is so easy to wear and has a light and fresh feeling to it - even the darks!

My cute flatties are a recent release from KC Couture and come with their fantastic texture change hud allowing you to change independently the textures for main, cord, stars, 3 separate jewels, insole and sole. They come fitted for Maitreya, Eve, Belleza and Slink. 

And finally, my mani/pedi is from Wicked Peach who have just moved to a new location, and I recommend a visit, they have some fabulous make-up and they are well worth a visit. One of the things that made this little blogger very happy is that their nail appliers include not only Slink appliers but Belleza and Maitreya too.  I am including their advert below because you can't really see them in my pics.

#390 A walk in the forest

Today's outfit started right at the tip of my head with this beautiful crown from Zuri Rayna, which comes in an array of different colours and metals. The Junbug gown was already in my inventory, it was a 55L or 60L offer (cant remember which) a while ago, and like maybe 90% of my inventory, has never been worn.  It is truly gorgeous - look at that back view, absolutely stunning. 

My hair is a recent release from Elikatira - it is so elegant and understated and has become a real favourite updo.  My shoes from KC Couture come with their wonderful extensive texture change hud - these are the suede Antea, but you can also buy them in snake.  In your box you get the shoes rigged for Belleza, Maitreya and Slink.

#389 We'll drink a drink a drink to ZsaZsa the pink the pink the pink

I rarely wear pink in either life, not because I don't like the colour, I do - but in sl I like to experiment with colours I might not wear in rl - greens, browns, neutrals - and today, pink.  For some reason when I was getting this post together I thought "go pink".  So I pinked Zsa up big-style.  I wish I was being paid for everytime I said pink in this blog post!

As a mesh body addict, I am really into items that are rigged to the various mesh bodies, and Annie Melson is one of the designers who do it incredibly well.  My Corset and Cami come in a great selection of colours, and in 4 leather and 8 lace options - or you can go for the fatpack which gives you all those options on a convenient hud.  You can wear the corset and cami together as I have here, or the corset on its own. Whichever you choose, you will receive it rigged for Belleza Venus, Maitreya Lara, Slink Physique and classic avvie fitted mesh.   The textures are incredible, very detailed, and the creases on both cami and corset are very realistic.

My pants are again from Just Because and come in a dazzling array of colours - I love this vibrant fuschia, and actually had a pair of jeans this colour when I was a teenager! There are 15 fantastic colours to choose from, whether you are wanting to go neutral or vibrant, and again you can go for individual pairs or a fatpack of 15. My shoes from Glamistry are, as with all his creations, simply stunning, with his impeccable attention to detail.
