#390 A walk in the forest

Today's outfit started right at the tip of my head with this beautiful crown from Zuri Rayna, which comes in an array of different colours and metals. The Junbug gown was already in my inventory, it was a 55L or 60L offer (cant remember which) a while ago, and like maybe 90% of my inventory, has never been worn.  It is truly gorgeous - look at that back view, absolutely stunning. 

My hair is a recent release from Elikatira - it is so elegant and understated and has become a real favourite updo.  My shoes from KC Couture come with their wonderful extensive texture change hud - these are the suede Antea, but you can also buy them in snake.  In your box you get the shoes rigged for Belleza, Maitreya and Slink.

#389 We'll drink a drink a drink to ZsaZsa the pink the pink the pink

I rarely wear pink in either life, not because I don't like the colour, I do - but in sl I like to experiment with colours I might not wear in rl - greens, browns, neutrals - and today, pink.  For some reason when I was getting this post together I thought "go pink".  So I pinked Zsa up big-style.  I wish I was being paid for everytime I said pink in this blog post!

As a mesh body addict, I am really into items that are rigged to the various mesh bodies, and Annie Melson is one of the designers who do it incredibly well.  My Corset and Cami come in a great selection of colours, and in 4 leather and 8 lace options - or you can go for the fatpack which gives you all those options on a convenient hud.  You can wear the corset and cami together as I have here, or the corset on its own. My pants are again from Just Because and come in a dazzling array of colours - I love this vibrant fuschia, and actually had a pair of jeans this colour when I was a teenager! #386 Rose covered Venus (V3)

I was in the middle of a blog post when the update to Belleza Venus arrived, so I revamped this post to wear Venus v3.  I have to say that so far, the improvements are major and well worth waiting for - the extra alpha cuts alone make me a very happy little blogger.  In the update box you not only get Venus V3, you also get two new bodies - Isis and Freya - which I am going to have fun playing around with and comparing. 

My outfit includes a lot of newness.  I am really loving all the new Elikatira releases and I particularly like Ilyssa, shown here in the reds.  The hair clips are colour change via the same hud you pick your hair shade from.  My shoes are a recent release from KC Couture and of course come with their extensive texture change hud allowing you to customise separate parts to your little heart's content.  They come rigged for Maitreya, TMP, Eve, Slink and Belleza so you are sure to find the perfect fit.

#385 Welcome to Capri(s)

I blame the proliferation of collages in this blog post entirely on Doc Eldritch for making it too hard for this Libran to choose which colours of his new capri and cami sets to show you!  Well ok, producing the collages was also a good distraction from the unbearable heat here yesterday and helped me resist the temptation to do this shoot on a snowy sim while sitting in a bath of ice cubes.

Doc has released two sets of camis, in both patterned (shown above) and plains (shown below).  You can buy just one cami or they are available in two separate fatpacks.  Whichever your choice, included for the exceptionally reasonable price you will find camis rigged for Belleza standard, Belleza push up, Maitreya, Slink and fitmesh for classic avvie.  They fit like a dream, not a single tweak required to fit them on my Belleza Venus.

I love capris but have struggled to find any that are just right , so I was extremely happy to see these new sets from DE Designs which I absolutely adore.  The detailing is fabulous, from the zips to the belt loops and pockets.  I particularly like the front zip detailing with the little v at the top, and the creasing on the legs which is very realistic. They come in fabric (shown below) and leather (shown in final pic).  

As with the cami, the capris come rigged for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink and fitmesh for classic avvie and fit perfectly to the mesh bodies they are rigged for and have the same incredible attention to detail.

#377 The ultimate Amaryllis

My dress from Just Because is absolutely beautifully rigged, as is anything Annie Melson makes.  The creases are subtle, but really bring movement to the dress, making it feel very realistic.  The criss-crossing on the back is perfection, as with Annie's criss cross tank.  It comes in a choice of 14 colours, or a fat pack with a hud.  It is rigged for SLink Physique, Belleza (push up and standard), Maitreya and also standard sizes for classic avatar.  I am wearing it on Belleza standard and it fits like a glove, not a single alpha tweak required - and with the criss crossing, this is amazing work.  

The selection of colours for this dress is extensive but I  really wanted to show this gorgeous rich burnt orange shade which didn't work well with my usual red hair, so I decided to go blonde for a change,. Piper is one of two new releases for Elikatira at Collabor88, so you can get it for a reduced price until June's Collabor88 ends. 

My shoes are from Glamistry and thanks to their ingenious hud system are very versatile. If you are new to Glamistry, however many colours you buy appear in a hud, allowing you to mix and match.  The more colours you buy the more combinations available.  You can buy new colours via the hud, so they are available right away and you don't even have to leave home to shop!  I have given a close up here just to give you an idea of how gorgeous the textures are - the leather is wonderfully realistic. Thankfully it is pixel leather so as a vegetarian I can still wear them :).  I don't think anyone on the grid creating shoes right now can compare with the artistry of Glamistry.

#374 Nina poses prettily

I've gone a bit crazy with the pics in this post but I just couldn't choose which dress to show of the Nina Color Block pack from DE Designs.  I am a Libran, so it is just not fair to expect me to make a decision (are you listening Tomm? ;)), so of course I must show them all!  

As well as being beautifully made and rigged, I really love the kinda swinging sixties vibe these dresses have going on.  The Color Block pack of Nina comes in the four colourways I have shown - you can purchase them individually or in a fat pack. #361 The Low-Down on Layla

DE Designs, one of my favourite designers for items rigged to the various mesh bodies, have just released a new vest, Layla, available in both leather and fabric.  Each vest comes fitted for Maitreya, SLink, classic avvie and Belleza (push up and standard) and a selection of five colours which can be bought separately or in a fat pack.  I am wearing them on Belleza Venus push-up and the fitting is faultless.  

Above are the leather Layla choices - black, buck, red, old leather and tan. I am wearing them with another DE Designs item, Tori pants in both leather and fabric, which are again rigged to the various mesh bodies. Available in 4 leather and 3 fabric textures, either separately or in fat packs, they make it very easy to put together outfits that are as easy to wear as they are to put on - by which I mean just wear, no faffing with the mesh body alpha.
