#516 Hair Fair Post #5

Today I bring you probably my last post for Hair Fair 2016, but you still have plenty of time to go and spend those Lindens on some new hair, find some freebies and and as many bandanas as you can to make this year's Wigs for Kids donation the biggest ever. 

I am deliberately not giving you details of the designers of the fantabulous bandanas I am showing here, as I want to encourage you to go and look at all the amazing creations and choose your own. I bought 8 but will probably go back for more, which I do every year. 

I am really happy to share some hair by designers I have not blogged before and some that are totally new to me.  Above I am showing 4 of the styles by Vanity Hair, and I love love love them!  I have bought some of their hair in the past but never actually blogged them, and these four "do's" are all absolutely fantastic creations that are also totally wearable. and I will definitely be wearing these in future blog posts.

The hair below is from a new-to-me designer, Sintiklia, great for someone who likes long girly hair, and their texture palette is great. 

Below I show some hair from a new-to-me designer, Zalea, who were previously known as ChiChickie.  All of their hair comes with a universal hud which I definitely approve of!

It is so hot here I can hardly bare to sit at my pc but I wanted to blog the hair that I didn't get round to yesterday.   You still have 10 days to shop at Hair Fair but don't leave it too late!

First up this time is Exile, and as we all know, the lovely Kavar Cleanslate is the king of the big flowing locks, and he has certainly not disappointed this time round.  I love how his hair is always very feminine and often has a boho kinda vibe which really works for me.  I can see myself wearing all four of these do's again and again.  Oh, Exile also has a hair for the guys at Hair Fair which is well worth checking out.

Next up on the first row above is Analog Dog - on my first avvie who is 9 years old (retired long before Zsa was born), I can remember seeing someone at a concert who was wearing a gorgeous crinkled flowing flexi do, and I IM'd her to ask where she got it (no inspecting in those days - or if there was, I didn't know about it), and that hairstyle became my favourite and my old avvie is probably still wearing it!.  I still love how Queue Marlow sometimes mixes flexis with mesh, and her hair is my go-to if I want something curly and with movement.   

On the bottom row above is Redmint, who I have heard of but don't think I have ever worn before.  That's one of the things I love about Hair Fair, the opportunity to find new designers while helping a wonderful charity.

Next up is Damselfly who I have not worn for a while, and I particularly love the up do, Adetted, and I really like their colour palette, particularly the blue black from the Tuxedo & Faded hud.

Finally we have the do's from Adoness.  I always enjoy Cruella Pennell's edgy styling and great colours.   I have given a side view as well as front, as Cruella's sides are often quite different to what you might expect.  Sadly, as I wear mesh heads all the time I can no longer wear her wonderful shaved hair bases, so below I am using the ones from No Match.

#514 Hair Fair Post #3

Ok, I plead heatstroke or something of that ilk (whines "it's too hot").  When I sat down to do the shoot for this post I was going to show at least 3, maybe 4, different designers from the Hair Fair.  I opened the Alice Project folder first and - er - as you can see, this post turned out to be all about Alice.  It's a while since I played with the Alice Project huds, and my heat addled brain found the best way to take my mind off it, and that meant taking a gazillion pics to make collages with.

In my defence (whines again a little louder "the heat, the heat, it makes me mad you know"), Alice Project hair is up there with all the top designers, in my opinion.  The styles are always unique, the textures wonderful and the huds are humoungously awesome.  I will be honest, it took me a long time to fall in love with Alice Project hair as I just couldn't get my head round the hud system.  One day I decided I needed some of their hair in my life, so I sat down to work it out - and honestly, it is so simple, I don't know why I couldn't work it out (probably just plain stupid).  Now I am a total fan of Alice huds - so if you feel the same, give the hud a try and I am sure you will be a big fan very soon.  In fact, if you buy any Alice hair from Hair Fair and need help with the hud (I doubt you will), or even choosing what hud/s to go for, feel free to IM me inworld).

There are 6 Alice styles and 9 huds to choose from at the Hair Fair, so I have shown all 6 styles, front and back because there are often really pretty twiddly (technical term) bits on the back.  Below I have given you one option from each of the huds - I have used the "randomize" option so you are getting the first colours the hud came up with, but it is an endless playground for colours, ombres, roots and streaks.

#511 Who says I am a witch!

Today I have gathered together items from We Love Roleplay, Season's Story, Cosmopolitan, Color Me Project and Mesh Body Addicts Fair.  I am wearing Catwa's Annie mesh head with Pink Fuel's recently updated Sora applier. 

I had fun putting this look together, I always enjoy doing the dark, gothy/punky type posts, and this one was built from this cute new skirt from Doc Eldritch for We Love Roleplay.  I always love his dark rich palette and this skirt is no different, the textures are really beautiful.

Doc also has this great tank set available at Mesh Body Addicts Fair.  Both skirt and tank are available in a huge array of fits, and the Maitreya choice fits my Maitreya Lara perfectly.  Thy are available in a choice of colours or Doc's very reasonable hud operated fat pack (buy the fatpack!  buy the fatpack!).   Each choice comes with a plain tank and the lip textured one I am wearing here.   

I know, I know, more cat poses but really, how can a crazy pixel cat woman resist such fun poses with the cute black kitty!  Funny story, someone posted on Plurk last week about some kittycats that they were sending to the menagerie unless someone wanted them.  The menagerie is where you send cats you no longer want, and from whence they can never return.  I was "noooo, they can live with me!".  These are pixel cats, I know that, and they are not real, I know that too, but even so, I couldn't think of them being sent to the pixel graveyard.  I think I am spending too much time in sl :).

#509 My name is ZsaZsa, and I collect body parts

Today's post brings together items from Collabor88, Cosmopolitan, Season's Story and Indie Teepee.  I am wearing Trinity, the first mesh head from LAQ, along with their Camille applier.

Yes, I am an addict, I can't help myself, the second I hear of a new mesh body part, I start twitching and it gets worse till I get my grabby little hands on it and can start playing with it. Trinity is a pretty head, as is the Camille applier (there are also a number of old LAQ skins which have been updated as appliers).  Both the hud and instructions that come with the head are very user friendly, and I was able to get the head in a wearable state within a minute of taking it out of the box.  The hud is pretty minimal compared to the Catwa huds, there are options for hair base, eyebrows, eyeshadow, lipstick and freckles, and a small number of expressions.  My first impressions is that I like Trinity, but don't feel "me" in her, and I can't see her beating my Catwa heads to become my #1 go to head, but who knows, that might change with further updates/options and skins.

My top and pants have a vintage vibe that really appealed to me, and are both available at Collabor88.  My jewelry is brand new from Izzies for Season's Story, and I thought it went perfectly with this outfit.  My shoes are new from from Essenz, also from Season's Story.

#507 Another page in my legacy

Today I am sharing goodies from 5 current events: Collabor88, Uber, Cosmopolitan, Pulse (finishes 12th July) and Crossroads.  l am wearing my Maitreya Lara mesh body and Catwa Jessica head.

I have always loved boho inspired clothing so when I saw this set from Addams at Uber, I had to grab it.  The skirt, top and jacket are sold separately in a wide range of colours and textures.  I've teamed it with a previous release from Cae, with it's bold earrings and perfect length drop pendant.  You can still get my bracelet from Izzies at the Pulse fundraiser, but will have to be quick as it finishes tomorrow, the 12th.
