Where are they?

Whoops

Anyone who knows Zsa, will be aware that she has a bit of a house obsession in sl, and is forever changing homes.  So when I saw this set from Reina Photography I just had to use it.   Zsa actually thinks I have arranged for removal men to help her unpack but I forgot, and they just dropped her boxes outside her new front door.  Whoops, sorry Zsa🤭.

At least she looks good

Zsa's gorgeous blouse is brand new from Just Because at Uber, as is her earring and necklace set from Cae.  The blouse comes in a beautiful selection of colours, a separate print pack and a fatpack which includes both plains and prints.  The choice of prints is wonderful, making it very hard for this Libran to decide which to wear.  There is also a hud included to change the colour of the strings and toggle them on and off.

Zsa's pants are a brand new mainstore release from Blueberry, and come in the usual cutibootie and Blueberrybootie choices, and a huge variety of denim and leather options.  I particularly love the creasing on these, so realistic and easy to wear.

#516 Hair Fair Post #5

Today I bring you probably my last post for Hair Fair 2016, but you still have plenty of time to go and spend those Lindens on some new hair, find some freebies and and as many bandanas as you can to make this year's Wigs for Kids donation the biggest ever. 

I am deliberately not giving you details of the designers of the fantabulous bandanas I am showing here, as I want to encourage you to go and look at all the amazing creations and choose your own. I bought 8 but will probably go back for more, which I do every year. 

I am really happy to share some hair by designers I have not blogged before and some that are totally new to me.  Above I am showing 4 of the styles by Vanity Hair, and I love love love them!  I have bought some of their hair in the past but never actually blogged them, and these four "do's" are all absolutely fantastic creations that are also totally wearable. and I will definitely be wearing these in future blog posts.

The hair below is from a new-to-me designer, Sintiklia, great for someone who likes long girly hair, and their texture palette is great. 

Below I show some hair from a new-to-me designer, Zalea, who were previously known as ChiChickie.  All of their hair comes with a universal hud which I definitely approve of!

#515 Fair Post #4

It is so hot here I can hardly bare to sit at my pc but I wanted to blog the hair that I didn't get round to yesterday.   You still have 10 days to shop at Hair Fair but don't leave it too late!

First up this time is Exile, and as we all know, the lovely Kavar Cleanslate is the king of the big flowing locks, and he has certainly not disappointed this time round.  I love how his hair is always very feminine and often has a boho kinda vibe which really works for me.  I can see myself wearing all four of these do's again and again.  Oh, Exile also has a hair for the guys at Hair Fair which is well worth checking out.

Next up on the first row above is Analog Dog - on my first avvie who is 9 years old (retired long before Zsa was born), I can remember seeing someone at a concert who was wearing a gorgeous crinkled flowing flexi do, and I IM'd her to ask where she got it (no inspecting in those days - or if there was, I didn't know about it), and that hairstyle became my favourite and my old avvie is probably still wearing it!.  I still love how Queue Marlow sometimes mixes flexis with mesh, and her hair is my go-to if I want something curly and with movement.   

On the bottom row above is Redmint, who I have heard of but don't think I have ever worn before.  That's one of the things I love about Hair Fair, the opportunity to find new designers while helping a wonderful charity.

Next up is Damselfly who I have not worn for a while, and I particularly love the up do, Adetted, and I really like their colour palette, particularly the blue black from the Tuxedo & Faded hud.

Finally we have the do's from Adoness.  I always enjoy Cruella Pennell's edgy styling and great colours.   I have given a side view as well as front, as Cruella's sides are often quite different to what you might expect.  Sadly, as I wear mesh heads all the time I can no longer wear her wonderful shaved hair bases, so below I am using the ones from No Match.

#514 Hair Fair Post #3

aka "All about Alice"

Ok, I plead heatstroke or something of that ilk (whines "it's too hot").  When I sat down to do the shoot for this post I was going to show at least 3, maybe 4, different designers from the Hair Fair.  I opened the Alice Project folder first and - er - as you can see, this post turned out to be all about Alice.  It's a while since I played with the Alice Project huds, and my heat addled brain found the best way to take my mind off it, and that meant taking a gazillion pics to make collages with.

In my defence (whines again a little louder "the heat, the heat, it makes me mad you know"), Alice Project hair is up there with all the top designers, in my opinion.  The styles are always unique, the textures wonderful and the huds are humoungously awesome.  I will be honest, it took me a long time to fall in love with Alice Project hair as I just couldn't get my head round the hud system.  One day I decided I needed some of their hair in my life, so I sat down to work it out - and honestly, it is so simple, I don't know why I couldn't work it out (probably just plain stupid).  Now I am a total fan of Alice huds - so if you feel the same, give the hud a try and I am sure you will be a big fan very soon.  In fact, if you buy any Alice hair from Hair Fair and need help with the hud (I doubt you will), or even choosing what hud/s to go for, feel free to IM me inworld).

There are 6 Alice styles and 9 huds to choose from at the Hair Fair, so I have shown all 6 styles, front and back because there are often really pretty twiddly (technical term) bits on the back.  Below I have given you one option from each of the huds - I have used the "randomize" option so you are getting the first colours the hud came up with, but it is an endless playground for colours, ombres, roots and streaks.

Lelutka

This third Hair Fair post brings together some gorgeous new "do's" from Lelutka, Tameless and Wasabi Pills.  All of them and so much more, is waiting for you right now at Hair Fair 2016.   If you are not yet in the demo group I suggest joining, it is so much easier to try on demos at home without the lag.  All info can be found in a previous post here.  Don't forget to buy as much as you can, including bandanas, so Hair Fair 2016 can raise as much as possible for Wigs for Kids.

Tameless

I love all the styles in this blog post, but Tameless have probably been one of the surprises of the Hair Fair for me this year, I really love all of their styles and also the textures are great.  "Do's" 1 and 4 above are my particular Tameless favourites.  All the Lelutka hairs are too fabulous for words. and the Wasabi Pills so pretty.

#512 Hair Fair 2016 Post #1

Here I bring you one of hopefully many posts where I will be concentrating entirely on Hair Fair 2016 goodies, thereby hopefully persuading you to go along and buy as much hair and as many bandanas as you can to make this year's Wigs for Kids donation the most successful ever.  As well as the well known participants this year, are some new (to me) designers I hope to show.

Elikatira

This first post brings together some very different hair styles from Elikatira and KoKoLoReS, all of which can be found right now at Hair Fair 2016.  

Firstly, the Elikatira - the hair shown here is Constance (sunset colours hud), Haley (red hud) and Nadia (blondes hud).  I love them all, but I think Constance would be great for anyone rp'ing as a mermaid so chose a fantasy colour to show here.  Haley and Nadia I would wear any day, and wouldn't be surprised if they both end up in my most worn hair folder.  

KoKoLoReS

Onto KoKoLoReS - I was just going to share a selection but couldn't decide which to leave out so you are getting 'em all, including the very generous gift.  I met Sisch many years ago when her shop was very small, and it has been fantastic watching it grow, and she deserves it - as well as being a lovely, genuine person, she is also supremely talented and hard working - not to mention that she is just about the most stylish person I have ever met.

These fun wedges from Ingenue for May 21Shoe come in a pack of two for the price of one, just 295L$.  They are in delicious shades of aqua and tangerine and are rigged to Maitreya and SLink mid mesh feet.  You can only collect them from the Ingenue mainstore.

#367 Essenz for May 21Shoe

These gorgeous little flatties are the May 21Shoe items from Essenz.  I find nice flatties quite hard to find, as most designers appear to create mainly for high heels. I am not complaining as I wear high most of the time, but there are times only a flattie will do. Essenz do flatties particularly well, as demonstrated in the beautifully crafted Tenerife. You can pick up these two exclusive colours, peach and purple, for just L$280 for the 24 hours of 21Shoe. They are fitted to SLink and Maitreya and come with a hud allowing you to change the metal and the inner sole.  These two colours will never be available other than at this round of 21Shoe.

#366 Lassitude & Ennui for 21Shoe May

These are the stunning Roslin pumps which are the Lassitude & Ennui offering for tomorrow's 21Shoe event. At their mainstore, for just 280L$ you get the shoes in creme and black, and rigged for Maitreya and SLink high feet.  You also get a hud allowing you to change the colour of the bow, so I have shown you various combinations above. Very unusual and if I wasn't already married in sl, the creme ones are the shoes I would probably wear for my wedding!
