#390 A walk in the forest

Today's outfit started right at the tip of my head with this beautiful crown from Zuri Rayna, which comes in an array of different colours and metals. The Junbug gown was already in my inventory, it was a 55L or 60L offer (cant remember which) a while ago, and like maybe 90% of my inventory, has never been worn.  It is truly gorgeous - look at that back view, absolutely stunning. 

My hair is a recent release from Elikatira - it is so elegant and understated and has become a real favourite updo.  My shoes from KC Couture come with their wonderful extensive texture change hud - these are the suede Antea, but you can also buy them in snake.  In your box you get the shoes rigged for Belleza, Maitreya and Slink.

#360 There's nothing like Perpetua (specially at half price!)

One of my favourite places for gowns was always Kouse's Sanctum so I was sad when Krystal/Kouse decided to close her gown store and concentrate on her jewelry, which I also love of course.  I was thrilled to find out that she is back producing some stunning mesh gowns, one of which I am showing here in a variety of colours.  Above are lilac and wine, below are ruby and ocean.

#334 Sax Shepherd Designs for 21Shoe

I love Sax Shpherd's designs, so am always pleased when he takes part in 21Shoe as he is this month. However, Lupa was a surprise as they are so different to anything I have seen from Sax before - but I love surprises!  As always they are absolutely beautifully made with Sax's exquisite attention to detail, and come with a  hud allowing options for switching between mardi gras and steel and changing rings/buckles, small rivets and large rivets.   

You can buy both pairs, in Mardi Gras and Steel, for just L$295 for 24 hours on 21st March, after that time they will never again be offered in this combination of texture or style.  They are a sneak peak of the full range of Lupa which will be released at The Black Fair in April.  They fit high SLink feet

#318 Sax Shepherd Designs for 21Shoe February round

It's 21Shoe time again!   In case you are unfamiliar with the 21Shoe event, on the 21st, for just 24 hours, the participating designers will offer two exclusive pairs of shoes for the price of one - and in this case exclusive means just that, they will never again be offered in the same texture or design.  

This round Sax Shepherd is offering two exclusive colours of his reissued Embrace Stilettos (previously Caress Stilettoes) for L$249 - and yes, that means you get the two for $249. These should fit both Slink and Maitreya Medium/Mid Heel Feet.  There don't seem to be many designers releasing shoes for the mid feet, all the more reason to snap these up.

You get one pair of shoes with a hud allowing for mix and match options. Above I am showing you chocolate leather and gold , and black leather with platinum lame are shown below  

These two exclusive combinations will only be offered at the Sax Shepherd Designs main store during the 24 hour event of 21Shoe for February 2015.

#303 21Shoe January Post 2015 #1 - Sax Shepherd Designs

It's that time again, the 21st of the month is coming up and therefore, one of my favourite monthly events, 21Shoe (website link as all 21Shoe items are sold in each designers main store).   In this post I am showing you the 21Shoe items from one of my favourite designers, Sax Shepherd.  

In case you are unfamiliar with the 21Shoe event, on the 21st, for just 24 hours, the participating designers will offer two exclusive pairs of shoes for the price of one - and in this case exclusive means just that, they will never again be offered in the same texture or design.  

This round for 21Shoe, Sax is offering two exclusive colours of his Tease Jeweled Stilettos for SLink high feet for just L$299 for the two.  Tease Stilettos have only previously been available as a gacha item, and are exquisite and delicate in a way that all of Sax's creations are. These two exclusive colors, Temptation Blue and Nude Rose, are baked in gold lamé and metallic satins, and are materials enabled.  They come with a single HUD allowing 8 different mix and match jewel options - I am showing you a selection of the many different combinations possible.

#292 Sax Shepherd for 21Shoe

 I was thrilled to see that Sax Shepherd is participating again in this month's 21Shoe event, and is offering a pack of two gorgeous pairs of Jeweled Stilettos for just L$399.  This offer is only available on 21 December at Sax's mainstore, and includes an exclusive pair of my favourite ever shoes for SLink high feet, Mata Hari.

The shoe above is a sneak peek at Sax's soon to be released Aphrodite range.  This special Holiday Edition comes with a hud allowing many texture change options allowing you to match them to all your holiday fashions.  There are red, blue and green soles with gold, platinum and black titanium jewelry options. There are also jewels to choose from including several photo realistic diamonds, onyx, sapphires, rubies, and emeralds.  I have shown you a few of the possible combinations, and there is another in the close-up in the collage below. After the 21Shoe event Holiday Aphrodite will only be sold during the holidays at the !! SSD (Sax Shepherd Designs) mainstore at its full price of L$599.

The shoe above is Mata Hari Oyster Satin and is pearlescent oyster satin highlighted with gold jewelry pieces and mother of pearl - this shoe is exclusive to 21Shoe and will never again be sold in this colour after the event.  The shoe in the bottom right in this collage is a close up of another possible colour combination of the Aphrodite Holiday Edition.

If you have never tried Sax's shoes before, I encourage you not to let this chance pass you by - he is an artist in real life and it shows - his shoes are absolutely exquisite, and I don't use that word lightly.  I had never found any shoes for the SLink high feet that didn't make the foot look deformed and extremely uncomfortable, until I discovered Sax's shoes, and I have been a committed fan ever since. Thankfully there are now many designers making wonderful shoes for high SLinks, but I will always have a soft spot for Sax's beautiful creations.

#280 Sax Shepherd does 21Shoe

One of my favourite ever SLink shoe designers, Sax Shepherd, is participating for the first time this month in 21Shoe. I love this event as you get 2 exclusive pairs of shoes for an incredible price.  The event starts at midnight on the 21st and only lasts for 24 hours, so you need to fly to the Sax Shepherd shop and pick them up before they are gone forever.  Sax is offering two exclusives In Winter Houndstooth - you get both pairs of shoes for just L$299!  If you have not had the pleasure of wearing shoes by Sax Shepherd before, you are in for a treat - he is an artist in real life, and it shows in the items he designs in SL, which are truly exquisite.  

First I am showing the Buttons Mules for the Slink Medium Heel foot - they are non-rigged and come with a hud to allow for the vamp panel to switch between black/red and black/white houndstooth as well as black, red or white piping, a black or white innersole, and black, red or white buttons/thread.  I have shown you two of the many combinations below:

Next are the Saddle Janes Flats for the Slink Flat foot, but also provided with an alpha and options for system feet. Again they are hud controlled, and allow for the saddle panel to switch between black/red and black/white houndstooth as well as black, red, or white piping and a black or white inner sole. Non-Rigged and easy to adjust to any mesh body that has a flat foot option.  Again, showing you two of the hud options below:

Additionally, Sax is providing an in-store add-on which includes non-rigged Bows Mules and a rigged-mesh Classic Waist Cincher in the same houndstooth fabrics for L$149.  After the event the Bows Mules and Cincher set will return to normal store pricing of L$349.  As I didn't have time to use these in photos, here is the vendor artwork:

#263 Those Fall Evenings

So Tomm took me out dancing last night, we had a wonderful night but I'm afraid I drank a little too many pixel cocktails, and don't really remember how I got home.  Then he showed me this picture and it started coming back to me, but my head was aching too much to think about it so I went back to sleep, leaving Tomm to do the housework and look after the kitties.  I felt a lot better when I woke up, but I think I will stay clear of those pixel cocktails for a while - well a couple of hours at least!

I just have to say a HUGE thank you to Tomm for his patience and help during our first official couple shoot, and for making the whole process such fun.  You really are the best, Mr M!

#240 Rhapsody with a Jazz riff

This is another post focused pretty much on Rhapsody, with my outfit and all the furniture coming from this fabulous event.  The chairs and benches from Kuro are all texture change and come in both suede and leather.  I have used two wall benches and one corner bench in the picture above.   My house is not really ready for showing decor, as I have only just changed houses and I have literally just started decorating so there are none of my own bits about, but I wanted to show you these things which I really loved. 

The Kuro jazz neon pics come in 3 styles, and 3 colour choices in each style - they can also be switched on and off depending on your preferences.  What I particularly love are the cables and wall plugs that are attached, which add an incredible note of realism.  I am showing two of 3 different jazz prints from Kokolores, all as stylish as can be expected from Sisch Firecaster!

My outfit is from [ SAKIDE ] for Rhapsody and is beautifully textured and available in an array of gorgeous rich colours.  My earrings are from aru, the new accessory store opened by Luana Dawg of Kuro, and the items are really unusual and sheer perfection as you would expect from Luana. These earrings are beautifully made and available in brass as well as the pewter I am wearing.  My necklace is from [LNS Designs], and I will be wearing the matching earrings and bracelet in an upcoming post.

#237 "I can't think about that right now. If I do, I'll go crazy. I'll think about that tomorrow"

I am dedicating this post to someone who will probably never read it as she has left SL.  When I was looking for quotes for the title, so many of them reminded me of her as she possesses much of Scarlett O'Hara's fire and drama, as well as her beauty.  Life as her sister was certainly never boring.  Nita/Chrissie, this one's for you.  I miss you and hope life brings you only good things.

The latest round of The Seraphim Social has a Gone with the Wind theme, which brought out a bit of the dramatic diva in me, and made me reach for some filmish frames to set the scene.  I am not a big hat person but I think the hat that comes with this lovely outfit from Sakide really helps set the mood.

The jewellery set from Cae is also to be found at The Seraphim Social, along with my manicure and pedicure, from ZOZ.  

My shoes were just 50L in the gacha at Sax Shepherd Designs, and come with a hud allowing you to customise the jewel colours.  This design is still one of my favourite ever shoes for SLink high feet, they are so elegant.  Sax is an artist in real life, and it really shows in his gorgeous creations in second life.

#219 New Teal Sun

I absolutely LOVE this new jewellery from [LNS Designs] for the Fantasy Fair.  It is not only beautifully made original mesh, but so unusual with the earrings having one dark and one light sun.  I am not a huge fan of symmetry, so these are just made for me!  They are available in fuschia, green, olive, pink, purple, white, and the teal I am wearing here.

I was really pleased to see Kouse Singh had produced a new gown - I was a huge fan of her store before it closed (it is still available on mp, link in credits), and still love her jewellery.  This gown from Fit for a Princess is both beautifully made and wonderfully textured, and I felt very demure wearing it :).
