#427 Something wicked this way comes

Wicked by name but not by nature, my pretty green skin is one of three Halloween special skins available at the Lumae mainstore for 100L each until 6th November when they will be at the regular price of 425L.  Each comes with various eyebrow options, leevi ears and shapes plus every applier you could possibly want, so this really is a fantastic deal.

My hair is one of many available in the Hair Shedding Hunt, a store wide hunt at Adoness.  When you buy the hunt object - a small comb - for 10L, you will find one of their best selling hairstyles in two special colours created just for the hunt which finishes October 31st.

  

My jewelry set comes from Zuri Rayna - this beautifully intricate set is texture change, allowing you to change metals, web, gems and spiders.  You can also add bling if you wish.  I have included a close up below as it  needs to be seen close to be fully appreciated.

Tomm logged in just as I finished putting this outfit together, and the first words from his fingers were "you look incredible".  I have to admit that I feel it in this outfit, thanks to the gorgeous gown from Siss Boom and the stunning jewelry from Zuri Rayna topped off with the old style glamour of the hair from Elikatira - which is an absolute favourite of mine, I have to force myself not to wear it every day!

I have shown both options for the gown - with and without the flexi add-ons.  The flexi panels were hard to picture as obviously a static photo cant capture them at their best.  They are so wispy and ethereal and give the gown a really elegant feel.  The jewellery set comes in an array of colour combinations and the shoes come with an extensive hud for ultra customisation.

#400 In search of Dragonflies

I really love it when something arrives in my inventory and inspires a blog post.  Today's catalyst was this stunning crown from Zuri Rayna.  It comes in an array of gorgeous colours, but I remembered something in my inventory that this colour would be just perfect with.  The crown is on sale at Fair Play along with other items from Zuri, and will return to full price when the event is over.

My skin is the current Lazy Sunday item from the incredibly generous Lumiya Ray of Lumae.  For just 75L you get the skin in your choice of tone, with eyebrow colours, freckles and cleavage layers, mod shape, and every body and head applier that you could possibly want.  I used the no brow option and went hunting for a coloured or tintable eyebrow, and I found this amazing set from Mynx Legend which includes a selection of eyebrows tintable to whatever shade you wish.

My hair is one of the 3 styles Sisch Firecaster of KoKoLoReS has available at the current round of We Love Roleplay.  I really love her huds which give you such a wide array of colours and tones, and you don't have to choose just one colour family.

My outfit from Posh Pixels is their contribution to the Lexi Project - for further info check out the blog The Lexi Project.  It comprises the dress, wings and strap boots.  The wings are absolutely beautiful, so gauzy and delicate.  There is a circlet with the outfit but I chose to wear Zuri Rayna's gorgeous crown.

#397 ZsaZsa in the Mist

Today's post began with this amazing jewelry set by Zuri Rayna accompanied by a notecard suggesting a step into the fantasy world.  I enjoy a challenge and fantasy is a genre I always really enjoy playing with, but don't do enough of, so this challenge was one I really liked.  The Mist Elite set from Zuri is absolutely stunning, very detailed, and allows you to customise every part independently - I chose black pearls and white opals on gold for this look.

I adore the new Elikatira hair with a vintage vibe which is available at the latest round of Cosmopolitan Sales Room. Unusually for me I have gone for the whites palette, and found this beautiful white with a faint hint of blue, the wonderfully named raindrop.

My gorgeous skin is from Lumae, as are my ears - Lumiya is very generous with her appliers and they are included in the pack.  My gown is from Tashi is available at the current round of The Instruments, and feels very elegant with the train flowing down the back - it comes with a hud allowing 6 colour choices.

#390 A walk in the forest

Today's outfit started right at the tip of my head with this beautiful crown from Zuri Rayna, which comes in an array of different colours and metals. The Junbug gown was already in my inventory, it was a 55L or 60L offer (cant remember which) a while ago, and like maybe 90% of my inventory, has never been worn.  It is truly gorgeous - look at that back view, absolutely stunning. 

My hair is a recent release from Elikatira - it is so elegant and understated and has become a real favourite updo.  My shoes from KC Couture come with their wonderful extensive texture change hud - these are the suede Antea, but you can also buy them in snake.  In your box you get the shoes rigged for Belleza, Maitreya and Slink.

#384 Ice Blue in SL

June is Wedding Month at Zuri Jewelry and this is just one of the many beautiful sets available at 25% off during June, and if you are a group member you will get another 25% refunded if you wear your tag.  These are true statement pieces and whether you are getting married or going to a formal ball, this set will really get you noticed.

I started this post off with the jewelry, and then I had a hunt for a gown to go with them. Luckily I remembered Sharodie who does lovely mesh/flexi mixes.  The gown I am wearing here cost just $29L, and the flexi pieces work beautifully with the mesh gown.   I am mesh body-less in this post simply because none of the bodies I use enabled the right alpha cuts to wear with this gown.

#373 Check out Charlotte

I wanted to blog this fabulous jewellery set from Zuri Rayna which as you can see, is a real statement piece - or rather, pieces - included in the pack are earrings, necklace and ring.  It is only available as an Elite set which means it is super customisable - you can resize, change bling on/off, and independently change 2 gems, 2 pearls and metals.   

I needed something simple and classic to wear with my statement jewels so rummaged through my nightmare of an inventory and found this beautiful gown from Shey.  Simple but stylish, it comes with a very varied 16 texture change hud.  My SLink high heels are from KC Couture and come rigged for TMP, Belleza, SLink and Maitreya and of course their incredible hud allowing 40 independent changes for main, sole, heel and platforms, and 2 metals.

#345 Spring Ramblings & KaTink at the Pose Fair

The starting point for this blog post was the stunning jewellery set from Zuri Rayna.  In the set you get necklace, earrings and bracelet, and there is also a separate headset to complete the set. Both are available in a gorgeous array of colours.  The hair I am wearing in the first photo wouldn't work with the head dress so I did a separate photo below - indulging myself in my love of close shots at the same time!  If you are curious as to why I didn't wear this hair for the whole shoot, it is simply because I love it so much I have worn it on quite a few blog posts, and wanted to ring the changes - and also I think the Ploom do is more in fitting with the princess like jewels from Zuri.

I have never blogged any Paisley Daisy items before, but have been a fan for a long time, and have had a little pile of their items in my "to blog" folder for ages.  I just love this gown, the addition of a few wispy flexi pieces really brings it to life - very subtle, but effective.   The texture of the gown is a beautiful muted paisley pattern.  As with a lot of Paisley Daisy items you get various options - I am wearing the solid top but you have a choice of sheer or solid, and fitted mesh or standard mesh sizes.  I am wearing the fitted mesh and it required no alpha editing on Maitreya Lara for it to fit perfectly.
