#470 Life is a shipwreck......

Annie Melson has outdone herself again with this lovely new top for The Liaison Collaborative.   As well as a plethora of great colours there are also different textures - ribbed,  floral and my favourite below, which has galaxy-like texturing.  The Libran in me made it impossible for me to choose which top to wear for this post, so I have showed you a selection.  I have teamed the top with Annie's designer jeans which are a previous release.  

Showing various tops off gave me the opportunity to show a few different poses from "Stumped", Nantra's new pose prop, also available at The Liaison Collaborative.  The stump is texture change and contains 12 quality poses.

I took these pics in the grounds of my new home (I hear the chorus of "not another one!"), and I am really excited to be starting a new chapter in my sl-life.  This last 18 months has been really tough but it has taught me many things.   Most importantly it has made me realise how blessed I am in my sl-life to have wonderful friends who have been there for me and made me laugh even when I thought I had no laughs left.  The last year has also taught me to trust my gut instinct, which is rarely wrong, and never to waste precious time on something that is not making me happy.  I have also learned that I have not had enough silliness in my sl-life for far too long, bring on the silly!

#440 Look what else I found in My Attic, November edition Part 2

l am back with a bevy of goodies from the current round of My Attic at the Deck, but firstly I must mention my skin which is a new group gift at Lumae.  You get every tone in the pack, along with every applier you could ever want - and an added bonus for this redhead (usually) is that Lumiya includes ginger and red brow options and freckle options too.

My hair is one of the goodies from this round of My Attic at the Deck, and like everything during the course of the event, it is just 95L per hud.  I have very little experience of enVogue but I love, love, love this wonderfully high and exquisitely coiffed updo - I will definitely be watching out for more from them.  My dress and shoes are also available at My Attic, both from Fission and both in an array of colour choices.  The final My Attic element in this post is the pose pack from Kirin which I had fun playing with.

Not at My Attic, but definitely worthy of a mention, are my necklace and earrings which are from Indulge Temptation and currently available in 7 different hud versions at Designer Circle.  As with everything I have tried from IT, they are beautifully crafted and the huds make it so versatile.

My gorgeous skin is a past Lumae 75L Sunday item, but even bought at full price it is an amazing bargain as along with the skin, Lumiya Rae also gives you lots of extras, including every applier you could possibly want.  

My pants are brand new from DE Designs, and are available in fabric and leather - I am wearing the leather.  They are compatible with Maitreya Lara, Belleza Venus Isis and Freya, and Slink Physique and Hourglass, as well as standard sizes plus alpha for classic avatar.   You can buy any of the four sizes separately or buy the fatpack and get the hud system - the fatpack is so reasonably priced, I would definitely recommend it.

I have teamed the pants with an earlier release from DE Designs, a fabulous leather corset.  Again you can buy it in single colours or in a fatpack and it is compatible with Slink Physique, Belleza Venus natural and push-up, and Maitreya Lara. 

My boots from Baby Monkey are on their new release wall which means they are half price for a week, but I think they must be coming to the end of the week, so you need to snap them up now.    They come with the Baby Monkey basics hud, with 9 textures, plus 3 choices for the studs.  You can see the colours here just before the credits.

#431 To appreciate the beauty of a snowflake...

Please forgive the snow in my last post and this one, but I (Zsa's typist) love snow and we rarely get any where I live, so I have been forcing poor Zsa to wrap up warm so I can take her somewhere snowy for our photoshoots.

My dress is new from DE Designs and fits perfectly on my Maitreya Lara mesh body.  The only problem I had was trying to decide which colour to wear, I must have changed about 20 times - thank goodness for the hud! You can buy Gia separately or in a fatpack which comes with a texture change hud.  Gia is compatible with Maitreya Lara, Slink Physique and Belleza Venus, Isis and Freya, and also classic avatar fitted mesh with alpha.  In the photo below you can see more of the design on the front of the dress.  I love the slouchy sleeves, it feels very comfortable.

 My boots, tights and jewellery all come from Baby Monkey.  The fall jewelry set comes with a hud giving a choice of 12 seasonal textures.  The tights are a current group gift and come with appliers for Slink and Maitreya Lara, and also system layer.  The tights and boots both come with huds giving 34 colours to choose from via hud.  I love Pixie's names for each colour category - neutral, rainforest, princess, native and classic.

Wicked by name but not by nature, my pretty green skin is one of three Halloween special skins available at the Lumae mainstore for 100L each until 6th November when they will be at the regular price of 425L.  Each comes with various eyebrow options, leevi ears and shapes plus every applier you could possibly want, so this really is a fantastic deal.

My hair is one of many available in the Hair Shedding Hunt, a store wide hunt at Adoness.  When you buy the hunt object - a small comb - for 10L, you will find one of their best selling hairstyles in two special colours created just for the hunt which finishes October 31st.

  

My jewelry set comes from Zuri Rayna - this beautifully intricate set is texture change, allowing you to change metals, web, gems and spiders.  You can also add bling if you wish.  I have included a close up below as it  needs to be seen close to be fully appreciated.

I always love it when something arrives in my inbox that is a little bit dark and gothic, so I was happy to discover this gruesome gown.  It is all one piece, wings included, but I love how Dulce Secrets have interpreted it, with ghoulish skulls glowering at you. It comes in versions for TMP, Maitreya and classic avatar.  I did have to alpha out areas on my Maitreya Lara body but this was no biggie.

 I added a gorgeous fantasy skin from Lumae and new release hair from Elikatira for the Wayward Halloween gacha event - 50L a play, what a bargain!  I am using the whites hud today for a change - the hud gives you a really impressive array of whites. including ombres.

I feel I need to explain why I have reverted to something I did when I very first started blogging, and that is the use of quotations.  Losing my mum and my godmother within the last 7 months, plus other rl stuff, has hit me really hard and to be honest, left me struggling at times to keep going.  Blogging helps as it keeps me busy, but I still need to remind myself to stay positive, or find silly stuff to make me smile because I feel like over the last year I have lost my smile.  Hence the quotations.

Anyway, enough of the ramblings.  Today I am showing a beautiful new top from Just Because which is available at the current round of Uber.  It comes in many colour packs, each containing one plain and one printed version such as the one I am wearing, or you can choose the hud operated fatpack.  The textures are absolute perfection, and the fit over my Maitreya Lara mesh body is faultless .  As well as Lara, the top is compatible with all three Belleza bodies, Slink Physique and standard avatar 5 sizes.  

I am teaming my top with an an oldie but goodie Just Because item from my inventory, one of my favourite ever pairs of skinny pants, available in an array of colours.  They are compatible with Belleza and also classic fitmesh, so to wear over my Maitreya Lara mesh body, I had to do some tweaks to my alpha, but nothing major.

My shoes are new from Glamistry and are sheer perfection as you would expect from him, and his fantastic hud system where you can buy extra colours via the hud is the cherry on top.  No fatpacks littering your inventory, just a pair of shoes and a hud.
