Today I am showcasing another beautiful new release from WOW Skins and two stunning new jewelry sets from Zuri.

Perfectly timed for Valentine's Day, the jewelry set above is one of the combinations in the brand new Belle Hearts set.  A cascade of beautifully crafted hearts and pearls, this is a statement set which will really accentuate your low cut gowns.  Belle Hearts is available in 10 different combinations, but there is also a texture change elite set available which would be a fabulous valentines gift for someone you love. 

Below we have the bold and beautiful Phaedra, fittingly named after a Greek goddess and available in 8 different combinations.

#285 Winter Star

I had to do a close up of this skin, because I really do think it is one of the prettiest I have seen in a long time - it is the .::WoW Skins:: group gift for November.  There is a fee to join the group but you get a bumper pack of previous gifts as well as the current one, so it really is worth joining.  You also get access to group only MM's and a whole heap of Lucky Boards.

 I had a major problem with this gown from Fi's Creations,(this link is to their website as they will shortly be moving store inworld, so you will need to check the website for info on location) a new-to-me designer.  What was the problem, I hear you ask (and even if you didn't, I am going to tell you anyway).  Well I loved all the colours so much I couldn't decide on just one to show you, so here you have them all.


I am sure there is an excellent word for the way the colour graduates and changes (black on silver to silver on black for example), but for the life of me I have no idea what that word is. Suffice to say that I adore the way these dresses are textured and will definitely be looking out for more by this designer.

Here are the final two - good luck choosing which colour to get, hopefully you will be a lot more decisive than I was!

#261 Serenity

No I haven't fallen off the edge of the metaverse, just a combination of rl (bad stuff) and sl (good stuff) conspiring to keep me away from blogging this last week.  Anyway here I am with an outfit I put together well over a week ago.  I am working on the next which will hopefully not take me as long to get published!

This is my first item from Silk Dreams and I really love how it fits, the crossover straps that give the double strap effect in front, and the texture.  The hair from Argrace is one of my favourites, and can be worn with or without the flower

#237 "I can't think about that right now. If I do, I'll go crazy. I'll think about that tomorrow"

I am dedicating this post to someone who will probably never read it as she has left SL.  When I was looking for quotes for the title, so many of them reminded me of her as she possesses much of Scarlett O'Hara's fire and drama, as well as her beauty.  Life as her sister was certainly never boring.  Nita/Chrissie, this one's for you.  I miss you and hope life brings you only good things.

The latest round of The Seraphim Social has a Gone with the Wind theme, which brought out a bit of the dramatic diva in me, and made me reach for some filmish frames to set the scene.  I am not a big hat person but I think the hat that comes with this lovely outfit from Sakide really helps set the mood.

The jewellery set from Cae is also to be found at The Seraphim Social, along with my manicure and pedicure, from ZOZ.  

My shoes were just 50L in the gacha at Sax Shepherd Designs, and come with a hud allowing you to customise the jewel colours.  This design is still one of my favourite ever shoes for SLink high feet, they are so elegant.  Sax is an artist in real life, and it really shows in his gorgeous creations in second life.

Introducing AmyLee, bats, skulls and crystals

Today I have some more Horrorfest goodies to share, some Acid Lily, and generally lots of lovely new scrumptiousness.

What I particularly like about this ensemble is that from a distance it looks like an elegant outfit for a gentile night on the town. It is only when you get a bit closer that you start to notice that things are not quite what they seemed at first. 

The gown is new at Sn@tch, and as always, well made and fabulous value.  You get 8 colours in the pack, after you have demo'd it and decided what size you want.  Best of all, it is covered in bats!    I love bats, so  finding this gown caused a big smile to spread across my little pixel face.

The jewelry set I am wearing is from Horrorfest and is a real "statement piece" from a new-to-me designer, AZE.  I love that when you look a bit closer you see the detailing which makes this set very different.  The bracelet set (2 bracelets) is priced at L$200, with 100% of that going to the Horrorfest charity,The Epilepsy Therapy Project.  The earrings are $150 and the necklace $L250.  

The ring is from the current round of Acid Lily, and is available in gold, copper, black onyx and silver.  I tried to get as close as possible to show the fantastic design, it is called "Crystalline" and lives up to the name, with it's fabulous quartz-like design.  The packs include versions for both standard hands and SLinks, which I am wearing here. You also get both single and linked rings, which I am showing, and they have been fitted for middle and ring fingers.   The designer has certainly thought of everything.

And finally, the skin I am wearing is a new release from WOW.  I have no idea why it has taken me so long to try WOW skins.  As soon as I tried AmyLee on I felt very comfortable, which is unusual for me as I have really struggled with finding new skins that feel "right" on me. This skin manages to be fresh faced and pretty, yet not too young looking. The pack includes 5 make-ups including bare, a shape (though I am wearing my own here), and two tattoos - freckles and more freckles.
