Entanglement

ZsaZsa decided it was time to put up her tree, so wearing a festive outfit and with the Beach Boys Christmas Album blaring out (thankfully she has no neighbours to complain) she started gathering her decorations.



The cats made themselves comfy on the tree skirt, which was quite brave considering ZsaZsa was about to climb a ladder.  She wrapped various garlands and sets of lights round her neck and started climbing.



She leaned as far as she could to place the decorations.

Hmmm, this ladder really doesn't go far enough, ZsaZsa thinks as she sings along to "Little Saint Nick" and decides she will have to stand up and....................................whoops

Whoops indeed!  Well the tree might not look very decorated yet, but ZsaZsa looked on the bright side and decided to drop some of the decorations (which the cats had fun with) and pose for this year's Christmas card!

I love this cozy mini from Firebird Designs for Feebs Rascals which comes with 4 different with/without belt and with/without cowl options, as shown in the collage.  The boots come with the outfit and the whole thing fits like a dream.

My skin is the current group gift from WOW Skins.  The group costs $300 to join, but as well as the current gift, you can pick up the group gifts for the last year.  There is also a wall of group only lucky boards and MM's, all of which give quality gifts.

A very pretty harvest

You know that great feeling when you try on an outfit and it is just perfect in every way?  That is how I felt about this new set from Sakide the moment I tried it on.  .  It fit perfectly with no tweaking - I like off shoulder tops but rarely find one that works, they are either too small or too big and no amount of tweaking will make the mesh/alpha/avvie combination work.  Not so with this set, it fits like a dream, even when dancing (the real test for me when wearing mesh).

It is available at Perfect Wardrobe until 13 December.  Colours choices are black, blue, pink, rose, wine, red, cream and white, all of which I have shown above.  Each colour pack comes with three tops - plain, snowflake and leafy.  The pants are not a style I would normally wear, but I absolutely love these and am sure they will be worn again and again.  Not only do they fit incredibly well, the textures are just perfect.

Introducing AmyLee, bats, skulls and crystals

Today I have some more Horrorfest goodies to share, some Acid Lily, and generally lots of lovely new scrumptiousness.

What I particularly like about this ensemble is that from a distance it looks like an elegant outfit for a gentile night on the town. It is only when you get a bit closer that you start to notice that things are not quite what they seemed at first. 

The gown is new at Sn@tch, and as always, well made and fabulous value.  You get 8 colours in the pack, after you have demo'd it and decided what size you want.  Best of all, it is covered in bats!    I love bats, so  finding this gown caused a big smile to spread across my little pixel face.

The jewelry set I am wearing is from Horrorfest and is a real "statement piece" from a new-to-me designer, AZE.  I love that when you look a bit closer you see the detailing which makes this set very different.  The bracelet set (2 bracelets) is priced at L$200, with 100% of that going to the Horrorfest charity,The Epilepsy Therapy Project.  The earrings are $150 and the necklace $L250.  

The ring is from the current round of Acid Lily, and is available in gold, copper, black onyx and silver.  I tried to get as close as possible to show the fantastic design, it is called "Crystalline" and lives up to the name, with it's fabulous quartz-like design.  The packs include versions for both standard hands and SLinks, which I am wearing here. You also get both single and linked rings, which I am showing, and they have been fitted for middle and ring fingers.   The designer has certainly thought of everything.

And finally, the skin I am wearing is a new release from WOW.  I have no idea why it has taken me so long to try WOW skins.  As soon as I tried AmyLee on I felt very comfortable, which is unusual for me as I have really struggled with finding new skins that feel "right" on me. This skin manages to be fresh faced and pretty, yet not too young looking. The pack includes 5 make-ups including bare, a shape (though I am wearing my own here), and two tattoos - freckles and more freckles.

Rebel against Yourself

I love the vintage glamour of this hair, which is the midnight mania item for this month from  Alice Project - and this board is open to non-members, so run on down and slap it! You get a hud with it so you can change the colour to whatever you prefer.  The gorgeous jewellery set from Maxi Gossamer is texture change, and I love how it "fills" the neckline. The pose for the last picture comes from Kirin, and is at the latest round of Acid Lily.  the dress is one of a number of colours to choose from the current round of FaMESHed.

Since starting to blog, and after a lot of experimentation - and a large number of cringes when I look at my early posts, I have learned a lot about my preferences, and think I am finally finding, the "core" ZsaZsa - the Belleza Leila skin, the dark lips & nails, and the wing eyeliner.  I have always loved vintage fashion, and this look seems to reflect that.

Someone commented that each month I am producing less blog posts and does this mean I am losing interest?  Far from it, in fact the opposite - I now take much longer to produce a post as I take my time over it, and have become really fussy - for every post I do produce, there is often 2 which have been binned because I wasn't happy with some aspect of them, or the whole look just wasn't "me" enough.

This deep ruby gown, which is available at the latest round of Acid Lily, definitely has more than a little wow effect.  It is absolutely stunning, a gorgeous confection of mesh and flexi that creates an old time glamour hourglass figure.  

I love everything about this gown, but if I had to choose one feature that I like best, it would be the back - the corsetry (not the right word but the one I am looking for totally escapes me) and bow detailing are so beautifully done.  I wonder if, when I wear this gown, it would be terribly rude of me to stand with my back to people so they can admire the view?

Here I am showing you another of the gifts you will find on the Season's Palette Hunt which starts August 20 (more details below the credits).  This beautiful flexi dress is the gift from Wild Serenity.  I love mesh, but still think there is a place for beautifully made flexi gowns such as this one.

When I saw this dress I wanted a pose/prop to go with it, and I found this set from HopScotch  which has the added bonus of a notecard telling the story behind the poses:
