Pale and Shimmying

I don't often wear pale skins, but the November Group Gift from WOW Skins is just so pretty, I couldn't resist.  As always with WOW Skins  you get a lot more than just a skin in the box, you also get freckle tattoos for both face and body, brow base, shape (mod), and appliers for SLink hands and feet, Lush, Lolas, Phat Azz and Loud Mouth.

No purple cereal for me, but a purple outfit, yes please

Growing up, purple was my least favourite colour, but somewhere along the way that changed, and it is now one of my favourites - but purple cereal?  No thanks, you eat it, Bill :).

I love FaMESHed because there are always so many amazing new mesh creations, and it has introduced me to many "new to me" designers who have soon become firm favourites - Baiastice is one of those.  I absolutely love this top, it is so different to anything I have seen before, and in an sl seemingly awash with items produced from the same old templates, it is great to find something that is unique.  The skirt also has beautiful detailing on the belt.

The only major bad thing about this outfit is that I couldn't help buying the fatpacks, but I have a fatpack habit that needs feeding regularly :).

Safari Outfit suitable for vegetarians

My whole outfit, including the skin is from the current round of The Boutique, which has a safari theme.  I am really loving this new skin from Izzies at The Boutique

I am not big on earthy/neutral tones usually, not sure why - but one theory is that my school uniform was icky brown with just as hideous mustardy "highlights", which has scarred me for life.  So I surprised myself at the safari themed Boutique by buying an earth toned outfit. The funny thing is though, that as a vegetarian irl I just can't bring myself to wear animal prints even in sl (I know, what can I say, I am a weirdo), so I had to choose non animal print items, which did kind of limit me, given that the theme was safari.

She doesn't really have the blues, she just wanted to wear some lovely blue items from the current collection at The Dressing Room Fusion.  The top and skirt come from different designers but I thought they went great together.

The texturing on this top from Baiastice is beautifully done and very realistic

The skirt is mesh, but I have no idea how it works - there is just one size, but it fits perfectly.  It is not listed as liquid mesh, but whatever it is, it worked great
