Be glad you weren't in my head this week, and and didn't have to listen to the argument between me (the typist behind Zsa) and ZsaZsa, which went like this (but went on for about 2 days): 

Me:     you can't possibly wear that in public
Zsa:    loosen up will you 
Me:     but..... 
Zsa:    but nothing, you are not my mother, I am wearing it 
Me:     Hey, I know of a nice long coat in your invo, that will look good over this

Zsa:    oh shush, you are so boring

Anyway, ZsaZsa won, so blame her!  This dress, which is outside my "normal" style, but which I really like, is from the next round of Room69 which starts on Sept 1st.  

Everything at the event is 69L - but with this dress you get a HUD with 4 colour choices and two texture choices within each colour - either the polka dots for the main panel, or as the side panel.  So 8 different dresses for 69L - or 16 for (gets calculator out) 138L!  

I have shown you both colour sets, so you can choose which you want - but seriously, at 69L for a set, why bother choosing, just buy them both (says Fat Pack Annie here).

As it is so hot irl, I had to do a quick shoot to try to cool myself down.  Has it worked? Nope, just made me intensely jealous of ZZ who has those cool ocean breezes wafting over her.

This pretty dress was only 10L at Aeva/Heartsick and also comes with a big floppy hat for those sunny days in SL.

I decided it was time I branched out skin-wise instead of wearing my beloved Belleza every day. So for these photos I am wearing a really pretty skin from Izzies.

The quote today is a good reminder for the chronic insomniac who writes this blog.

I was introduced (thanks to another "crazy cat lady" :). You know who you are - thank you!))  to a completely new designer this week, and am seriously drooling over their stuff - the store is Villena and they produce designs which are both unique and beautifully crafted.  I just LOVE the Galaxy texture on the front of this top, which comes with a texture change hud giving 4 options for the collar wing tips

I have paired the top with a pair of Lapointe & Bastchild (of course - I have yet to find better jeans in sl) jeans which come with a texture change hud with 12 choices (6 faded, 6 clean) - I am wearing "clean black".  

I didn't actually notice the back detailing on the Villena top until I was exploring sl and suddenly noticed this - a cut out with chain detailing which looks amazing.  As if the fabulous front was not enough, this top also has an equally fabulous back!

For Squinternet Larnia of Donna Flora

This post is different to all my others, because - well, I can't say it eloquently enough, so please look at this web page:

For some reason, even with almost 7 years in sl, I had never heard of Donna Flora before.  And I love vintage clothing, so a lot of Squinternet's designs are very "me".

Anyway, I went along this evening to find something to buy to help the fund a little.  It is only a small contribution, but if everyone buys something, or goes to the event that is being organised, then hopefully we will have helped Squinternet in some small way.

Squinternet's designs are so beautiful it was really hard to choose, but in the end I went for this lovely silk mesh dress.  It comes in 3 sizes and fit like a dream the second I put it on, no tweaking needed.

This is a cause dear to my heart, having lost one good friend to breast cancer a few years ago, and watching one of my oldest friends fighting this dreadful disease.  I really hope as many people as possible support Squinternet in whatever way they can

I was so determined not to buy any more hair following the retirement sale at Truth, but honestly, how is a girl to resist something as cute as this?  

This pretty dress cost just 99L and it fits like a dream, no shape tweaking whatsoever required.  I wanted a pop of colour to mirror the turquoise of the flower in the dress and picked up this great bracelet at The Dressing Room Fusion.  It also comes in a gold option.  I teamed it with this fab texture change ring from Maxi Gossamer at Fameshed  along with her Copacetic earrings from a previous round of Collabor88.
