Today's post brings together items from Collabor88, Salem, Anybody and Twe12ve.

I am always excited when Alia Whitfield, designer of Blissiere comes out with something new, and she never disappoints.  Her adverts alone are worth a read!  This Halloween Mantle is nothing short of epic, and I had such fun putting this blog post together.  The fireplace comes loaded with really high quality animations, the candles flicker and it even comes in 3 sizes so no matter how low your ceiling you will find one to fit.  It is available along with other spooky and cute goodies, at the current Haunted round of Twe12ve.

My skirt and top are by Freya Oiivieri of Mon Cheri for this month's Collabor88 and Anybody.  Both come in a large range of colours but I have gone with black to fit in with my theme.  Both top and skirt are available in single colours or a fatpack which includes a bonus colour.  My earrings from Cae for Salem can be seen better on my flickr feed here.

#530 ZsaZsa finds the light

Today I bring you brand new releases from Mesh Body Addicts, Hairology, The Makeover Room, Cosmopolitan and The Crossroads.

The eagle eyed amongst you might have noticed something different about my previous two posts.  To be honest, I didn't expect anyone to notice anything, but then I got a message from my friend Tin: "OMG I am looooving your most recent photos look 528 and 529!!!  What is different???? Shadows?  You are definitely doing something different!"  

That difference is, quite simply that I have taken my Lumipro out of it's box again.  I only used it a bit last year because of stuff I was going through in real life which made it hard to concentrate on new things.  So, I am basically back to square one, a complete noob.  I have been watching videos and practicing, practicing, practicing, getting frustrated with myself, then practicing some more.   

I hate asking for help, I like to find my own solutions, so wasted two whole days on my platform.  I couldn't get the lights to work, going over and over it step by step again and again, logging off in frustration, then logging back in to try again.  Just after I finally gave in and asked for help, I found it - the lights are attached to the model, me in this case, so if you don't check "display attached lights" you ain't gonna see em!  As a side note, the customer support from Samantha at Lumipro is fantastic.

This is the reason that this post is about 4 days later than it should be.  After Tin's IM I l compared the pics on my last two posts, and the previous ones and Tin was so right, all I could think of the older ones was "ugh, flat".  So it is Lumipro all the way now - please bear with me while I learn!

Onto the outfit - my top is brand new from Just Because for Mesh Body Addicts.  This corset style top is absolute perfection, coming in Annie Melson's gorgeous palette of colours, and beautifully hugging the curves of my Maitreya Lara.  It comes with a texture change hud allowing you to change the colour of the beads.  I think this top would be wonderful as part of a long gown - hint, hint, Annie!  Anyway, I am not going to blah blah any more, there is enough text here already, so I will just say that a lot of other items I am showing you are also brand new at various events, all details below.

#526 Chic

I am somewhat late with this post as I had an unexpected hospital trip for an exploratory procedure, and it always takes me a while to get over general anaesthetic. I am not complaining however - as a chronic insomniac, someone sending me to sleep so easily is something I actually enjoy - yup, total weirdo.   I have to wait around 10 days for biopsy results but am hopeful it won't be anything sinister.

Anyway, onto the good stuff - I am always thrilled when Annie Melson of Just Because releases a new gown because they are always stunningly beautiful and so classy.  Isabelle ticks all those boxes and then some.  She is a wonder to behold, creating curves a vintage screen siren would be jealous of.  You can either wear the gown alone or add the optional pearls - and if the gown itself isn't stunning enough, the pearls really turns it up a notch, and you can even change the colour with the included hud.  

l realised I hadn't done this gown justice without showing the back view, so here is a quickie pic - the pearls not only add something special to the front neckline, they also do something spectacular with your back view!  Annie has woven these pearls so beautifully round the straps, and the draping is so realistic.  Annie has really outdone herself on this creation!

#522 Elegance

Today I bring you a major mainstore release from Just Because, along with items from Collabor88, The Mesh Body Addicts Fair and Bon Voyage.

Second Life creating and blogging are so geared towards events these days that I find it really refreshing when a designer does a store release.  Annie Melson has done this with her truly gorgeous Giselle gown.  I honestly can't find enough superlatives for this gown, it is simply stunning.  It fits like a glove to my Maitreya Lara, both mesh and texturing are simply perfect, and of course, it comes in an array of gorgeous colours.  I have gone with black today simply because I rarely wear black gowns and fancied a change.

My hair is one of Vanity Fair's do's from Hair Fair.  I confess I have rarely tried their hair before but this updo is so good, I will definitely be checking out their designs more often.

I am using one of the Nantra pose sets from Collabor88 - this set is deliberately made with "quiet legs" making it perfect for long gowns. 

As you can't really see my fabulous nails in these photos, I am including the advert below because they are truly spectacular.  I love Alaskametro's work, and have fun with the "wear all five" (as in a column) options you get on many of her huds.  This Kimono set is brand new for Bon Voyage.
