London Lights

Today's post brings together items from Season's Story and We Love Roleplay plus a new mainstore release.

My dress and bolero set are a new mainstore release from Just Because.  Stupidly, I forgot to show you the dress without the bolero, but when you demo it, try it both ways and you will see how versatile it is.  Of course, it goes without saying (but I'm going to anyway!) that the mesh fits my Lara absolutely like a dream, and the textures are just perfect.  I love the way the asymmetrical pulled hem and string give the dress a really unusual outline.  Thankfully the dress comes with intrinsic panties to spare our blushes, and you can change them, the string and the buttons via hud. 

My hair from KoKoLoReS comes with two options - the plain hair above and the one shown below, with autumnal leaves.  The lovely Sisch FIrecaster is creating up a storm at the moment with lots of great new styles for various events, and I am sure I will be sharing more very soon.  My lip and eye make-up are just two of the many items La Boheme has available for just 50L at We Love to Roleplay.  These prices are only for the duration of the event.

Say Cheese

I am going to make this a quickie post as rl got in the way of blogging last month, so I have a lot to catch up on.  Not only a quickie, but a blog post with just one photo, can you believe it!

My sweatpants are a brand new release from Just Because for FaMESHed, and they are simply perfect, they fit like a dream to my Maitreya Lara, and of course they come in Annie's great choice of colours.  You can of course buy the fatpack, but even with an individual colour pack, you get a hud so you can change the string at the front.  

My hair is from Wasabi Pills for Fifty Linden Friday - it isn't available at the special price now, but it is such a pretty"do" that it is well worth paying full price for it.

#530 ZsaZsa finds the light

Today I bring you brand new releases from Mesh Body Addicts, Hairology, The Makeover Room, Cosmopolitan and The Crossroads.

The eagle eyed amongst you might have noticed something different about my previous two posts.  To be honest, I didn't expect anyone to notice anything, but then I got a message from my friend Tin: "OMG I am looooving your most recent photos look 528 and 529!!!  What is different???? Shadows?  You are definitely doing something different!"  

That difference is, quite simply that I have taken my Lumipro out of it's box again.  I only used it a bit last year because of stuff I was going through in real life which made it hard to concentrate on new things.  So, I am basically back to square one, a complete noob.  I have been watching videos and practicing, practicing, practicing, getting frustrated with myself, then practicing some more.   

I hate asking for help, I like to find my own solutions, so wasted two whole days on my platform.  I couldn't get the lights to work, going over and over it step by step again and again, logging off in frustration, then logging back in to try again.  Just after I finally gave in and asked for help, I found it - the lights are attached to the model, me in this case, so if you don't check "display attached lights" you ain't gonna see em!  As a side note, the customer support from Samantha at Lumipro is fantastic.

This is the reason that this post is about 4 days later than it should be.  After Tin's IM I l compared the pics on my last two posts, and the previous ones and Tin was so right, all I could think of the older ones was "ugh, flat".  So it is Lumipro all the way now - please bear with me while I learn!

Onto the outfit - my top is brand new from Just Because for Mesh Body Addicts.  This corset style top is absolute perfection, coming in Annie Melson's gorgeous palette of colours, and beautifully hugging the curves of my Maitreya Lara.  It comes with a texture change hud allowing you to change the colour of the beads.  I think this top would be wonderful as part of a long gown - hint, hint, Annie!  Anyway, I am not going to blah blah any more, there is enough text here already, so I will just say that a lot of other items I am showing you are also brand new at various events, all details below.

#529 Dreaming

Today I bring you brand new items from The Arcade, FaMESHed and Cosmopolitan.

I am always excited when Freya Olivieri releases something new because her items are always breathtakingly gorgeous - and this new set for The Arcade is no different.  My top, shorts, sleep mask and wonderfully girly clutter plus more are available to play for.  From FaMESHed I am wearing one of Exile's two "do's".  This relaxed kinda up, kinda down, kinda wispy "do", is right up my street, perfect for swinging on my hanging bed under the sl stars.

#527 The $100L Challenge

And now for something completely different!  One of the YouTube channels I love to watch is Alicia Chenaux's, and in her latest vlog she issues a challenge to put together an outfit, including clothing, hair, accessory and shoes, for just 100L!  If you haven't already seen it, watch Alicia's video here - and give the challenge a go yourself!  If you do, please share your link in my comments so I don't miss it.

I love this kind of challenge but I couldn't go to two of the places I would have normally headed for right away - Hilly Haalan and Pure Poison, as Alicia used them in her video, so I wanted to find somewhere different.

  

After a while searching mp with no luck, I suddenly remembered a store I loved in my pre-mesh days and I was happy to see Sharodie still does gorgeous flexi gowns but now with omega appliers - and she also does mesh dresses.   To say her items are reasonably priced is an understatement and a half - and that is why I am giving you 2 mesh dresses with texture change huds, plus bracelet, hair and 2 pairs of shoes for the grand sum of $99L!

The two dresses I am showing cost 35L each and come with texture change huds but other items from Sharodie usually cost around the 25L mark but are often less. 

I went to the SL Frees & Offers group for both my hair and shoes, and already knew where to find the goodies.  My hair is the current gift for SL Frees & Offers group members from Alice Project - you get the hair plus a basics hud with a variety of naturals and colours.  Both pairs of shoes are from Livalle, again for SL Frees & Offers members.  My accessory is a bracelet from Golden Fleece who used to have a store inworld but I was thrilled to find them on mp, and this texture change bracelet costs just 29L. 

On a final note, the sofa, tables and pots I am showing are part of the Mauricette set by Serenity Style for SaNaRae.

#526 Chic

I am somewhat late with this post as I had an unexpected hospital trip for an exploratory procedure, and it always takes me a while to get over general anaesthetic. I am not complaining however - as a chronic insomniac, someone sending me to sleep so easily is something I actually enjoy - yup, total weirdo.   I have to wait around 10 days for biopsy results but am hopeful it won't be anything sinister.

Anyway, onto the good stuff - I am always thrilled when Annie Melson of Just Because releases a new gown because they are always stunningly beautiful and so classy.  Isabelle ticks all those boxes and then some.  She is a wonder to behold, creating curves a vintage screen siren would be jealous of.  You can either wear the gown alone or add the optional pearls - and if the gown itself isn't stunning enough, the pearls really turns it up a notch, and you can even change the colour with the included hud.  

l realised I hadn't done this gown justice without showing the back view, so here is a quickie pic - the pearls not only add something special to the front neckline, they also do something spectacular with your back view!  Annie has woven these pearls so beautifully round the straps, and the draping is so realistic.  Annie has really outdone herself on this creation!

#524 Do You Remember?

Today ZsaZsa is showing items from Mesh Body Addicts Fair, Hairology, Shiny Shabby and Designer Circle, along with a major mainstore release.  She is wearing Catwa Destiny mesh head with a Glam Affair applier and Maitreya Lara mesh body.

I am happy to show the latest mainstore release from Just Because, the Tess Tank.  It is a beautifully made piece of mesh, with realistic creases and folds, and a cute tie scrunching up the tank at one side.   It comes in a range of colours, or a hud operated fatpack.  I've chosen this gorgeous burnt orange shade and paired it with another of Annie Melson's creations, the Jen capris, initially available at N21, but now available in the mainstore.  I have continued the earth/neutral theme with the capris, and finished it all with a pair of Essenz's new release which is available at Shiny Shabby.

Today's I bring more items from Collabor88, The Crossroads and Mesh Body Addicts Fair.  I am wearing a Glam Affair applier on my Catwa Destiny head and topping it off with hair from Exile.  

I was in love as soon as I saw this amazing "do" from Exile for Collabor88.  It comes with both the pearl necklace and pearl/jewel add on but can be worn with just one, or without either, so it is really versatile.  Both add on and pearls come with a texture change hud.
