Say Cheese

I am going to make this a quickie post as rl got in the way of blogging last month, so I have a lot to catch up on.  Not only a quickie, but a blog post with just one photo, can you believe it!

My sweatpants are a brand new release from Just Because for FaMESHed, and they are simply perfect, they fit like a dream to my Maitreya Lara, and of course they come in Annie's great choice of colours.  You can of course buy the fatpack, but even with an individual colour pack, you get a hud so you can change the string at the front.  

My hair is from Wasabi Pills for Fifty Linden Friday - it isn't available at the special price now, but it is such a pretty"do" that it is well worth paying full price for it.

#524 Do You Remember?

Today ZsaZsa is showing items from Mesh Body Addicts Fair, Hairology, Shiny Shabby and Designer Circle, along with a major mainstore release.  She is wearing Catwa Destiny mesh head with a Glam Affair applier and Maitreya Lara mesh body.

I am happy to show the latest mainstore release from Just Because, the Tess Tank.  It is a beautifully made piece of mesh, with realistic creases and folds, and a cute tie scrunching up the tank at one side.   It comes in a range of colours, or a hud operated fatpack.  I've chosen this gorgeous burnt orange shade and paired it with another of Annie Melson's creations, the Jen capris, initially available at N21, but now available in the mainstore.  I have continued the earth/neutral theme with the capris, and finished it all with a pair of Essenz's new release which is available at Shiny Shabby.

# 507 The promised kiss of summertime

Today's post brings together goodies from Crossroads, The Pulse Fundraiser, Cosmopolitan, and two different designers for Gacha Guardians.  I am wearing my Maitreya Lara mesh body with Catwa Jessica mesh head, using a Pink Fuel applier.

I am thrilled that Doc Eldritch of DE Designs has released a new version of one of my favourite tops, the Lori, this time with some seriously pretty floral prints.  As always with Doc's stuff it fits like a dream on my Maitreya Lara.  It can be bought singly or in a hud controlled fatpack.

My jewellery is from Cae for the new round of Gacha Guardians - you pick up a free bracelet from the Cae mainstore then play the gacha for the charms.  If you play 10 times you aer entitled to the exclusive Summer necklace and earrings with a texture change hud.  In case this event is new to anyone, I have linked the Gacha Guardians "how to play" page in the credits.

My eyes from Avi-Glam are brand new for the current round of Cosmopolitan - they are quite different to the previous releases but they are absolutely stunning.  Avi-Glam are basically the only eyes I ever wear now, they are so beautiful and also fanstastic value,

#484 The butterfly counts not months but moments

I felt kinda springy today and wanted to wear this truly gorgeous skirt form Mon Cheri.  Apart from the fabulous selection of patterns to choose from, you also get the skirt in sheer and not so sheer.  What is even better though, is that it comes with undies attached!  This made me jump for joy, confident in that if my studio was full of people, I would not be flashing my bits at them :).  I find this a real issue when wearing short skirts over a mesh body - I dance a lot and last night found myself camming up my own skirt to check I had my undies on - with this skirt, no need!   Whatever skirt texture you choose, the undies coordinate, I so wish more designers would do this for short skirts, I think it is such a great idea.

I am including the pic below simply because I wanted to show the skirt pattern, which is my absolute favourite.  I have worn this sports bra from Just Because but it remains one of my favourites, and most tops don't work great with a high waistband, whereas this one fits perfectly.

I am wearing my Avi-Glam eyes again, this time using the Nature hud.  This will probably be my leisure time hud, as I am pretty much always a green eyed redhead when not blogging, but I like experimenting with different styles and colours on my blog.

#480 The first time I see a jogger smiling, I'll consider it

This post has taken me way longer than it should have, because I was doing it as a home & garden/fashion mix, even took all the pics, but then decided I hated them, binned them and am doing the two posts separately.  As you can see, ZZ is still having fun messing with her mesh heads, and took advantage of this great new pose pack by Nantra for The Instruments.  It comprises 6 poses plus mirrors, along with 2 mobile phone props with mirrors. 

These new ones capris from Doc Eldritch made me squee a bit, because I love capris and have struggled to find just the right pair - and now I have!  They are really well constructed, with realistic creases and shading and come in a great selection of colours (individual or fatpack), with a hud to change hardware and belt texture.  They are compatible with all the major mesh bodies (demo first of course!) plus classic avatar.

My shirt from Just Because comes in a plethora of beautiful colours and is compatible with Maiteya Lara, both Slink bodies and all the Belleza bodies.  Both of the designers featured have colour palettes that I adore - nothing so bright you need pixel sunglasses to look at them, but deep, rich gorgeous tones.  Add that to their fantastic original mesh builds and superlative textures, these are both designers I would recommend to anyone.

#358 Destiny will get you everywhere

This original mesh dress by Ducknipple didn't jump at me from the advert, but that changed as soon as I tried it on.  It really is original, unlike anything I have seen before and I love the poofy pockets, the ruffles, and the strapping and hardware. Of course with it being from Ducknipple, there is a texture change hud to play with - 10 options for the sweater, 2 for the dress.

These fabulous shoes from KC Couture debuted at April's 21Shoe, and I was a happy little blogger when they released the full pack.  They are original mesh, beautifully made, and for the price of less than one pair of shoes from other designers, you also get a hud giving 24 independent options for main, heel and straps, 6 for the sole and 2 for the hardware.  I have added a close up of another combination at the end of this post.

I wanted some specs for this post, but I rarely wear glasses in sl and have very few in my inventory, so I was pleased to find these beautifully crafted Softpaw ones from Krystal.

#315 Polka dots & spring time

Today I am showing you a really sweet dress from vintage store, Irries Dollhouse.  It comes with a texture change hud allowing 8 independent choices for the dress and the bow at the back.  I confined myself to showing you just 4 of the 8, it wasn't easy!  The dress comes in 5 standard mesh sizes plus 2 fitmesh which fit Maitreya Lara, and is beautifully made with hand drawn textures, and my favourite bit is the little lace petticoat peeping out at the bottom.  I am wearing one of the fitmesh sizes and it fit like a dream, no fiddling with the alpha at all.

I was so pleased to see that KC Couture have updated these gorgeous little flatties to include a pair rigged for Maitreya Lara, which was perfect as I was wearing Lara for this dress. In the shoe pack you get versions rigged for SLink, Belleza and Maitreya, with a choice of 10 plains and 10 patterns, plus 4 sole colours as well as shine on/off.  For Belleza they also have a sock applier which looks really cute in the advert, but as I already had Lara on I couldn't show them here.   

Spring has sprung on the sim where we live, so I thought I would make the most of it and take my pics outside for a change.

#264 The Boy Next door

Today's outfit is another great bargain from LivGlam - there are two different palettes to choose from for this outfit, and each gives 3 different texture combinations.  The one I am showing is under their Chic La Mode label, with items being 99L or less.

My necklace is from AZE , who makes the most incredibly complex and detailed items of jewellery I have ever seen in sl.  This is their donation item for A Clockwork Spiral which benefits The National Kidney Foundation.  The event runs till october 1st.

My shoes are from a new-to-me store called Glamistry, and can be found at this month's My Attic at The Deck, for just 95L a pair.  They come with a great hud system, and each colour you buy goes straight in the hud so you can mix and match the different parts of the shoe, using whatever colours you have purchased.

#241 "You're the one that I want!"

I have been trying to put together a post using *~*HopScotch*~*''s fantastic rock set for Rhapsody all week but I have been having one of those blogger block weeks where nothing looked right. 

Then I saw the new group gift from  ::Sn@tch, immediately had visions of Olivia Newton John in Grease, and voila! Ok, Olivia didn't actually play air guitar, but I bet she would have if she could have.

Chandni's fantastic Rock your World set is 100% original mesh, textures and poses and comes with the stage as shown (you can see more of it on my flickr page, super troupers and all, at the link below the credits).  I love the spotlights, but for the closer photos I have edited the set and unlinked and derendered the lights just to show you the clothes clearer.  

There are three positions on stage, so you can pose with friends, or pose yourself middle, left or right.  Each position comes with 14 unisex poses.  You also get two microphones and five different background textures.

The :::Sn@tch gift of leggings and crop top comes in 7 colours in standard sizes, and the choker in black as shown.

The seriously sexy shoes from Liv Glam come with a texture change hud with 7 textures for straps and toebox and 8 for the heel.  The -{ZOZ}- piano key nails are great, and again can be picked up at Rhapsody .

Rhapsody finishes on the 12th so you really need to hot foot it down there and get some fabulous goodies.
