#419 My body is here but my heart is at the beach

Today I am bringing you brand new items from Mesh Body Addicts Fair, Collabor88, Uber, FaMESHed, The Aloha Fair & The Gacha Garden.  I am wearing the LAQ head, Trinity, along with a Glam Affair applier. 

My shorts from Mon Cheri for Mesh Body Addicts Fair come in a whole heap of pretty colours, each with a separate belt with a texture change hud.  You can buy them in a fat pack or singly but you get an extra colour if you buy the fatpack.  I love the frayed hemline, the textures are very realistic and the fit absolute perfection my Maitreya Lara

My necklace and earrings are a brand new set from Cae for FaMESHed and I love love love it!  I have one very like it in real life, but this is better because it comes with a wonderful texture change hud - I wish they would hurry up and make them in real life!  The necklace is actually 3 in one, as you can use the hud to hide any of the three for different looks or to work with different tops.  My bracelet is also by Cae for The Gacha Garden - the bracelet itself is free, and the charms are won on the gacha.

#518 Summertime is always the best of what might be

Today I bring you a new main store release from DE Designs, plus goodies from Uber, Shiny Shabby, N21 and The Aloha Fair.

My dress from DE Designs comes in a hud controlled fatpack or singly in a range of solid colours and patterns, all of which come with a hud giving you 13 options to texture the sash.  My shoes from Reign are available at N21 and come with two huds - one in the Reign palette, the other in the Blueberry palette, both of which are very extensive, making it so easy to mix and match. 

My Catwa applier is by DeeTaleZ at Uber - the applier is made for the Cami head, but you get an add-on in the demo pack with lots of options to help it work with the Jessica head, as I have done here.  I have used the Catwa blush and lip colours.  

My beach scene is from Image Essentials for The Aloha Fair.  It comes with a selection of poses, I am showing two - the bag in the first pic is a prop from the set.

#341 Silver Unleashed at the RAFF

Today's post again is heavily influenced by Rock Attitude Fashion Fair 2 - in fact it was the silver dress that started it, everything else sort of tagged along.   I don't think it is an outfit I would pop out to get a pint of milk in, but I had fun playing with it. 

My base the gorgeous Charlize from WOW, but I have really changed her with the use of some amazing make-up layers from Senzafine that initially appeared at Skin Fair, but which I didn't feature in time due to an administrative cock-up (mine!).   Both the eyeliner and lips come in some great packs to mix and match, and though they are bold, it's not in an "in your face" kind of way.  On your face obviously, but not in your face.  And those last two sentences are probably proof of why I shouldn't edit blog posts at 4 am.

This is the first appearance of my Mandala ears but I lurve them totally and am sure they will feature heavily from now on.  I said I would never wear a mesh body, look at me now, addicted.  Mesh ears?  Blergh, no way.  Like eating your words don't you, little Zsa?

I haven't worn any of Aze Jewelery's incredible pieces for a while and this one really seemed to  fit the bill for my silver ensemble.  Amilia's work is so intricate, she creates some absolutely breathtaking pieces, and I am always stunned by her creativity and attention to detail.n

#324 Skin Fair 2015 - Belleza

Here I am with another mammoth Skin Fair 2015 preview post, this time for Belleza, whose skins I wore almost exclusively till I realised that as a blogger I needed to ring the changes and experiment with other skins.  Even so, my love of Belleza skins has never left me so I was thrilled to see that they had a new skin available at the Skin Fair 2015, and Tess is a real beauty, and comes with a whole heap of options.

Tess comes in 10 makeups and includes 6 brow options, cleavage layers, hair bases, blush, freckles, moles, matte/gloss lips and includes all 7 skin tones (fair, pale, medium, sunkissed, tan, deep tan & mocha) per purchase.  Fat pack, lip bundle and shape are all available separately.

Now the full body shot (wearing sunkissed, my favourite from their range) - the body definition, particularly the midriff, on Belleza skins is, in my opinion, one of the best on the grid.  What a difference a mesh body makes though - I am not wearing one for these photos, doesn't make much difference for the head shots, but I can really see the difference in the shot below even with anti aliasing notched up to 16.

#323 - Skin Fair 2015 - WOW

This is the first of a number of Skin Fair 2015 blog posts I will be producing, and I will always focus entirely on the skins, because that's what Skin Fair is all about. I will be presenting skins from designers who are entirely new to me, which is something I love doing.  However, I will also be showing some wonderful new skins from designers whose work I am familiar with.  This first post falls into the latter category, as I am introducing you to Ilenia, brand new for the Skin Fair from WOW Skins.

As always, Sawsan has done an amazing job and produced yet again one of the prettiest faces on the grid. I admit I might have gone a bit overboard showing you all the make-ups on all the tones but what can I say, I would rather give you too much than not enough!

#321 Spring in the Village

Today's is another post that has "been in the works" for what seems like ages.  It is a pretty top and skirt available at Spring in the Village till March 15th.  My shoes are another gorgeous concoction from Illi, with of course an amazing hud allowing a huge number of options for main, deco, sole and bottom.

My pretty skin is from 7 Deadly Skins - I must admit I have never really explored their skins before as they are very different to my "norm".  However, as I have been trying out so many skins the last six months or so (up till then I could not be dragged out of my Belleza skins by anyone), I thought why not give them a try. The skins are a lot younger looking than I normally wear but I really like the freshness and innocence of them.  This is a rare from the Avril gatcha at the mainstore, and it costs 80L per try.

#315 Polka dots & spring time

Today I am showing you a really sweet dress from vintage store, Irries Dollhouse.  It comes with a texture change hud allowing 8 independent choices for the dress and the bow at the back.  I confined myself to showing you just 4 of the 8, it wasn't easy!  The dress comes in 5 standard mesh sizes plus 2 fitmesh which fit Maitreya Lara, and is beautifully made with hand drawn textures, and my favourite bit is the little lace petticoat peeping out at the bottom.  I am wearing one of the fitmesh sizes and it fit like a dream, no fiddling with the alpha at all.

I was so pleased to see that KC Couture have updated these gorgeous little flatties to include a pair rigged for Maitreya Lara, which was perfect as I was wearing Lara for this dress. In the shoe pack you get versions rigged for SLink, Belleza and Maitreya, with a choice of 10 plains and 10 patterns, plus 4 sole colours as well as shine on/off.  For Belleza they also have a sock applier which looks really cute in the advert, but as I already had Lara on I couldn't show them here.   

Spring has sprung on the sim where we live, so I thought I would make the most of it and take my pics outside for a change.

Gowns are like buses...................

.......I don't do a gown post for months and then suddenly do two within a few days.... but how could I resist!

I built this outfit round the stunning necklace (if ever a necklace is worthy of the accolade "statement piece", this is it) and earrings, two of Maxi Gossamer's items at  the current Collabor88.  .As almost always with Maxi's pieces, these are colour change, but I had seen the gown around the same time so decided to go with the gold.  

The [[ Masoom ]] gown is  for sale at the Singer Icon Fair and is available in a further four colour options, and includes a lola applier. The fullness of the skirt is created by two mesh attachments, something I have not seen before on a gown, and they certainly do help the gown to flow beautifully, appearing to be of a part of the gown, which can't be said of many flexi attachments.
