#391 Who bought all the Hair?

Hair Fair is one of my favourite annual events for two reasons - obviously the hair, but more importantly, every year money is raised for Wigs for Kids, a cause close to my heart.  I am still going through my boxes but wanted to share this gorgeous hair from Fiore, my first ever hair from them.  

I am also showing you a few more things from My Slink Obsession (MSO) and reminding you that you have till the 22nd to snatch up some of the goodies on offer.  My props are from Repose for MSO, and come with 5 poses and the appropriate bags for each pose.  My wedges are from B!asta, again for MSO, and come in a variety of great colours, each of which give you a choice of 4 different colours via hud for the wedge part.  My dress from Indyra is not from MSO, but I love it anyway - very easy to wear with my Slink Physique, it also comes with a hud giving 6 colour choices.

#388 My Slink Obsession stars in Don't forget your Undies!

As a lover of vintage glamour and fifties fun, I am a huge fan of Terrie Dreadlow's work , so was thrilled to see that she has created a new outfit for My Slink Obsession.  The dress is rigged for Slink Physique absolutely perfectly and also comes in standard sizing and various fitmesh sizes.  The wedges come rigged for both Slink and Belleza. Both dress and wedges come with extensive texture change huds allowing various parts to be changed independently for ultimate customisabilty (apparently that is not a word - it is now!).  

I decided to be a blue eyed blonde for this post for no particular reason other than that I can. I am really loving this bright blonde shade from Elikatira, though of course the hud gives you many different blonde shades to choose from.  I also think the blonde works really well with Sawsan Secretspy's delicately beautiful skin currently at Designer Circle.

ps in case you are wondering, the title for this post refers to the bottom right pic in the collage - it was only when I was taking that pic that I realised Zsa (who is lazy and rarely wears undies) was inadvertently flashing. Not so bad as she was the only one there and I could move the camera angle to preserve her dignity (which she has now lost again as I am telling you about this).  However, I later tp'd to a friend while wearing this outfit, landed on their head, and then sat down to ride a helicopter - neither activity should be attempted without undies or an outfit that covers more than this dress does!

#376 Return of the Fawn

I am sharing again the gorgeous PXL skin from this month's We Love Roleplay, which I showed here without the branch tattoos.  I love everything about this skin, it is so fresh and pure and I adore the little branch tattoo - all the better as a tattoo layer so you can wear the skin with or without. Shara comes in two tones with 3 make-ups each, plus other goodies like freckle and cleavage tattoos.

Serendipitously, I received a notice from Indyra about this outfit which comes with the fawn antler head-dress and thought it would work well with the skin.  Both dress and headpiece come with texture change huds giving 5 matching options each, all of them very pretty.  Although it only comes in standard sizes, there were no issues at all wearing the Indyra maxi with my SLink Physique.

My unusual turquoise palette foot jewels from Sky were hiding under my dress so I dragged them out for a pic - they come with a texture change hud giving you three texture choices.

#370 A new twist on Sky

This outfit from Sky is beautifully made and textured as you would expect from Sky Summerwind, with great strap and zip detailing on the skirt.  It comes with a hud allowing 5 texture changes for the skirt and top separately.  I am wearing it on my SLink mesh body and was wondering if I would have trouble with alphas for the leg but I had no issues at all, no alpha tweaking required.

My poses are from a new KaTink release - they are so dramatic, totally different to any I have seen before - and they seem to be just made for this outfit to show off the side details so well.  They transition beautifully and the set of 10 poses will be sold at Sneak Peek for 350L - that is a 50L discount for the fat pack.  Once the event is over, Gabby will be split into 2 sets - Set 1 and Set 2 and will be sold at the KaTink store for 200L each.  Sneak Peek opens it's gates on the 25th.

My shoes are a recent release from KC Couture for SLink high feet, and as always they come with an extensive hud allowing you to colour different parts of the shoe for total customisability (ok that is another word I just invented, but it fits!). 

I am so happy to see some new hair from Elikatira - e l i k a p e k a is one of my favourite hair designers, and her three new styles don't disappoint at all.  There are 7 colour huds to choose from, each containing wonderful textures and tones whatever your colour of choice.

#368 Gimme some Shorts

One of my favourite pre-mesh outfits was a pair of shorts with a "boyfriend" jacket over it and strappy heels. Sadly, when I tried it on a few years ago, after the arrival of mesh, it looked incredibly dated (I am being nice here), the blouse and jacket being system with sculpty bits which stuck out at weird angles for the lower part of the jacket.  Shudders. 

Only last week I was thinking I need to find another outfit like that in mesh, then serendipitiously these great shorts by DE Designs landed on me, so the jacket hunt was on.  I haven't found it yet but I think the shorts look good with this cardigan by Blueberry (which comes with a dress option too). I had trouble finding a mesh top that would work under the cardigan, so - drum roll please - Zsa is blogging her first ever applier top! To be honest I am still not a fan, too much like going back to the days of system clothing, but I can see it's uses for layering under mesh like this.

The shorts come in both leather (black red and tan) and fabric (blue, forest and the tan I am wearing here), fitted for Belleza, SLink and Maitreya but there is no classic avatar option for this release for technical reasons. You do get a hud allowing you to hide the belt, or texture it in a choice of 4 colours, and two hardware. I am sure I will be blogging them again sometime soon.

And finally, a close up to show you again the gorgeous Aeryn from PXL, and one of my favourite jewelry sets from LNS Designs - I love the dark and light suns of the earrings. I also wanted to show you these eyes by Candace Hudson - it has been a while since I wore them but I will definitely be wearing them more - they are mesh and come in two Iris sizes, plus an easy resizer for the eyes themselves.

#363 Radiance of a Different Kind

Today I wanted to share this beautiful new skin from Lumae, which is available for 75L at the Lumae mainstore.  You can choose from 8 different tones - I am wearing #3, Rosy.  Lumiya Rae is one of the most generous skin makers in sl - for your 75L you not only get this gorgeous skin with various eyebrow and freckle options, you also get every applier you could possibly need!  And I really mean that - as well as appliers for all the major mesh bodies and heads, you also get petite avvie, baby bump, and mouth appliers.  I adore the freckles you get with Lumae skins, so fresh and youthful.  I have added my own eyebrows and a slick of lipstick in these pics just because I rarely wear a skin as it comes out of the box, I like to add bits and pieces to make it mine.

I have no idea how long this skin will be available at this price, so if you want it at this amazing price, run!

#359 Dancing Undiscovered

Tomm and I were going to go for a short break to celebrate 8 blissful months of married life.  We decided on The Galaxy but sadly when we went to book, we found it was closing last weekend.  So instead, we bought a beautiful new house and are going to have our getaway at home :).  I have of course been having great fun knocking down walls and removing windows etc - and have only deleted the house itself once!  The house is just perfect, with enough room for me to set up my studio which will make blogging a lot easier, and also a room where I can set up home furnishing blog posts.

As I have a ton of good stuff to blog, I took a break from decorating to do a blog post I have been meaning to do for ages, sharing these fabulous jeans from Just Because. They are fitted beautifully to SLink Physique, Maitreya Lara, Belleza and classic avatar, with a choice of curvy or standard in each. There are 12 different tones and you can buy them individually or the fat pack which comes with a hud to change texture.  I have shown a few of the different colours, paired with a cute little blouse I picked up at Hilly Hilaan, and which comes with a hud allowing 5 colour choices and gold or silver chains.

My perfect little flatties are new from Mundos and come with not one but two huds, one plain and one cheetah, each allowing you to change 5 separate areas individually in any of 49 textures.  I have used the basic texture pack here.  You also get pairs rigged for Maitreya Lara, Belleza Venus, SLink Physique, and TMP. 

I am wearing one of my favourite skins from PXL.  I had never tried their skins until the last Skin Fair, but I am really loving the details, the tones, the eyebrow shape and the make-up choices - well pretty much everything about them really!
