#368 Gimme some Shorts

One of my favourite pre-mesh outfits was a pair of shorts with a "boyfriend" jacket over it and strappy heels. Sadly, when I tried it on a few years ago, after the arrival of mesh, it looked incredibly dated (I am being nice here), the blouse and jacket being system with sculpty bits which stuck out at weird angles for the lower part of the jacket.  Shudders. 

Only last week I was thinking I need to find another outfit like that in mesh, then serendipitiously these great shorts by DE Designs landed on me, so the jacket hunt was on.  I haven't found it yet but I think the shorts look good with this cardigan by Blueberry (which comes with a dress option too). I had trouble finding a mesh top that would work under the cardigan, so - drum roll please - Zsa is blogging her first ever applier top! To be honest I am still not a fan, too much like going back to the days of system clothing, but I can see it's uses for layering under mesh like this.

The shorts come in both leather (black red and tan) and fabric (blue, forest and the tan I am wearing here), fitted for Belleza, SLink and Maitreya but there is no classic avatar option for this release for technical reasons. You do get a hud allowing you to hide the belt, or texture it in a choice of 4 colours, and two hardware. I am sure I will be blogging them again sometime soon.

And finally, a close up to show you again the gorgeous Aeryn from PXL, and one of my favourite jewelry sets from LNS Designs - I love the dark and light suns of the earrings. I also wanted to show you these eyes by Candace Hudson - it has been a while since I wore them but I will definitely be wearing them more - they are mesh and come in two Iris sizes, plus an easy resizer for the eyes themselves.

#359 Dancing Undiscovered

Tomm and I were going to go for a short break to celebrate 8 blissful months of married life.  We decided on The Galaxy but sadly when we went to book, we found it was closing last weekend.  So instead, we bought a beautiful new house and are going to have our getaway at home :).  I have of course been having great fun knocking down walls and removing windows etc - and have only deleted the house itself once!  The house is just perfect, with enough room for me to set up my studio which will make blogging a lot easier, and also a room where I can set up home furnishing blog posts.

As I have a ton of good stuff to blog, I took a break from decorating to do a blog post I have been meaning to do for ages, sharing these fabulous jeans from Just Because. They are fitted beautifully to SLink Physique, Maitreya Lara, Belleza and classic avatar, with a choice of curvy or standard in each. There are 12 different tones and you can buy them individually or the fat pack which comes with a hud to change texture.  I have shown a few of the different colours, paired with a cute little blouse I picked up at Hilly Hilaan, and which comes with a hud allowing 5 colour choices and gold or silver chains.

My perfect little flatties are new from Mundos and come with not one but two huds, one plain and one cheetah, each allowing you to change 5 separate areas individually in any of 49 textures.  I have used the basic texture pack here.  You also get pairs rigged for Maitreya Lara, Belleza Venus, SLink Physique, and TMP. 

I am wearing one of my favourite skins from PXL.  I had never tried their skins until the last Skin Fair, but I am really loving the details, the tones, the eyebrow shape and the make-up choices - well pretty much everything about them really!

#356 It's all about the Lace

Today I am wearing the full Maitreya Lara, including hands and feet.  I am so glad that more designers are creating for Lara, even though the files haven't been released, as she is definitely my go-to mesh bod at the moment.  I am finding most items experimentally rigged to Lara work pretty well with only minor tweaks to the alpha needed. My shoes are from Mundos and come with a mammoth texture change hud and rigged for TMP, Maitreya, SLink and Belleza.

My corset dress is another quality item from DE Designs and comes in the tan I am wearing, plus red, vamp, purple, blue and  black.  Each colour can bought separately or in a fat pack, and each pack includes dresses rigged for Belleza Venus (push up and natural), Maitreya Lara and SLink Physique, as well as classic avatar.  I have added some close-ups of the dress so you can see both the wonderful texturing on the front, and the intricate lace work at the back - you get a hud with a choice of 7 lace colour and 2 hardware colours .  

I am including another couple of close-ups so you can see the stunning new skin from WoW, which is available from the 25th at Gangsta Fair.  There are five tones to choose from with six make-ups (including natural) in each pack.  

I also wanted to show more of this incredible jewelry set from Freya at Mon Cheri.  I have no idea how she does it, but I am so  glad she does!  The set comes with a hud with a choice of 12 main colours and 6 metal choices for each for each colour, so it really is incredibly versatile as well as gorgeous.

#342 Pale Rules

This beautiful skin is a lot paler than I would usually wear but it is so feminine and delicate I couldn't resist.  She is available at We Love to Roleplay and is available in 4 make-ups with 4 different brow options included, plus no brow and tintable brow.  Sweet Lips Aurora applier also come in each pack, and appliers for Maitreya and SLink are available separately  I love the delicate lipstick and subtle blush. The only addition I have made apart from lashes is a minimal eyeliner. 

I decided to do an all Maitreya blog post today, so am wearing Lara with both her hands and feet.  The dress I am wearing from Blueberry comes in 12 lovely single shades or a hud controlled fatpack which also allows you to customise the belt and strings.  I went for the green to go with my pale skin and red hair.  The dress comes rigged for Maiteya, Belleza, Slink and classic avatar, and in two options, belted or non-belted, and also comes with lola appliers.  I love the creasing on this dress which gives a very realistic look and I am sure I will wear this dress often.

I found it a bit difficult to find nail applies for Lara, but thankfully finally found some by Nailed It. Even if you can't see my nails up close, I still like them to match the outfit!  I really hope more people start making them as those that come with Lara are very basic - in common with all the other mesh bodies I use.

My shoes from Mundos come with pairs rigged for Eve, Belleza, SLink and Maitreya and I thought the delicate straps were perfect with this dress and wouldn't look too clumsy on my pale skin.  They come with two huds, one allowing you to customise 8 parts with 24 colours, and the other hud allowing you to choose from 24 snakeskin textures.

#328 Skin Fair 2015 - Mundos

Today's Skin Fair 2015 post is a humongous one, because I wanted to include all make-ups in all tones because the tone really makes a difference to how the make-up appears.  I am introducing you to Daphne, new from Mundos:

#322 Longing for you

Today I am showing a plethora of wonderful newness.  My skin, which think is absolutely gorgeous, is Vera, the current group gift at Mundos.  I know Mundos for their fabulous shoes so this skin was a real surprise, and blew me away when I put it on.  Love love love it!   I am also wearing a pair of my new favourite eyes from #adored who I have only recently discovered but their eyes are really beautiful.

My outfit consists of separates from  three designers whose recent work I am really liking - anything fitted to any of the mesh bodies I use makes me a happy little blogger. 

My perfectly crafted crop top sweater by Blueberry comes in 5 standard sizes plus fitted for Belleza Venus, both push up and regular, and also lola appliers for V1 & V2.  The fat pack comes with a hud giving 13 colour options.

My beautifully made leather pants are available in three separate colours, or a fatpack of the three - they are also available in a fabric version.  In your pack you get fitted mesh versions for classic avatar, Belleza Venus, SLink Physique and Maitreya Lara.

Last but most certainly not least are these fabulous shoes from KC Couture.  I love KC Couture items but this new release takes it to another level.  In your pack you get shoes individually fitted and rigged for SLink, Maitreya and TMP Ouch.  You also get a hud giving you a choice of textures - 50 main (40 colours, 10 patterns), 50 strap, 50 heel and 40 metal, and you can also remove the studs and strap.  I have shown you just a few combos I made but I am sure there must be at least a gazillion (or 6) more.  Oh how I love texture change huds!

#320 Royalty

Because of rl (mentioned in my last post), I am late getting this post up, this outfit was initially for Thrift Shop but will now be available in the Adoness mainstore.  As always, Cruella's texturing is exquisite, the brocade is so rich you want to run your fingers over it, and the leather textures so well constructed. It comes in four more sumptuous colours in addition to the Royalty I am wearing here.

As a lover of punky, shaved hair I fell in love with this one from Mina the second I saw it - you get both materials and ordinary versions in the box.  

Finally the shoes which are from Mundos and I LOVE them!  You don't want to have an argument while I am wearing these babies!  They come with Mundos's amazing texture change hud giving you 24 independent choices  for 7 different shoe parts.

#316 Belle of his Heart

For today's post I am wearing another set of the fabulous Belle Hearts jewelry by Zuri.  They are so beautifully made, and absolutely perfect if you are looking for something for Valentine's Day.  I love this set because it is striking, yet not ostentatious.

This gorgeous sleek gown I am wearing is from Shey, and has been in my inventory for well over a year.  It comes with a hud giving a choice of 20 rich textures. It isn't fitmesh but I had no issue with using it with the Lara mesh body - as with most low cut tops, I found that neither Belleza Venus or SLink Physique worked well with this gown, because they have far fewer areas round the boobs that you can alpha out, whereas Lara has plenty.

My shoes are another gorgeous set from Mundos, coming with their amazing texture change hud allowing you to customise individually 8 different sections with 24 different textures - giving you both sequin and plain options for the heel.  In the box you get copies rigged to TMP, Belleza, SLink and Maitreya.
