#339 Distressed Jeans and Cabarets

Today's outfit appeared when I got notification of two group gifts for members of Mina's VIP Group, and one of them was this great shaved quiffy do - I really love short shaved styles (and MINA do them so well).  I think it's my inner punk showing through.  I am blogging the Rock Attitude Fashion Fair so hopefully there will be quite a few edgy rocky posts coming to this blog very soon.

I also wanted to share these great distressed jeans from DE Designs, which come fitted for Maitreya, Belleza and SLink mesh bodies, and also classic avatar - for a change, I am not wearing a mesh bod (which now feels a bit strange, like I am half naked).  I am wearing the classic pair and they fit perfectly.  The jeans come with a hud to change the back pocket details, and the jeans come in black, blue, dark, dingy and light.

I wanted to wear this very new incredibly pretty skin from WOW but kinda punk it up a little, and I knew just where to find what I wanted - I am wearing one of the full make-ups from Sn@tch at the Skin Fair, and which will be available in the main Sn@tch store after the fair ends on the 29th.  I did a post showing the fantastic range of these make-ups, plus another set here.

Tomm and I have matching dog tags from Lapointe & Bastchild, but he also got them personalised, and I love it when I am wearing an outfit I can wear them in,

#316 Belle of his Heart

For today's post I am wearing another set of the fabulous Belle Hearts jewelry by Zuri.  They are so beautifully made, and absolutely perfect if you are looking for something for Valentine's Day.  I love this set because it is striking, yet not ostentatious.

This gorgeous sleek gown I am wearing is from Shey, and has been in my inventory for well over a year.  It comes with a hud giving a choice of 20 rich textures. It isn't fitmesh but I had no issue with using it with the Lara mesh body - as with most low cut tops, I found that neither Belleza Venus or SLink Physique worked well with this gown, because they have far fewer areas round the boobs that you can alpha out, whereas Lara has plenty.

My shoes are another gorgeous set from Mundos, coming with their amazing texture change hud allowing you to customise individually 8 different sections with 24 different textures - giving you both sequin and plain options for the heel.  In the box you get copies rigged to TMP, Belleza, SLink and Maitreya.

#311 Zsa gets her goth on

I have in the last couple of days completely binned two posts just as I was about to press publish, as I decided I just wasn't happy with them, to the extent that I couldn't fix them without totally redoing them.  That is a heck of a lot of work to throw in the trash, but I am really particular about what makes it on to this blog, and that I portray the items to the best of my ability. 

Anyway, I was a bit despondent for a moment, looking at my blank page, but when going through the new stuff in my inventory I found this little gem of a dress from a new-to-me designer, Livid.  I don't do many fantasy posts (I really should do something about that), but when I do I have such fun with them, and this was no exception.  The pulling together of various random or long forgotten pieces in my inventory, and the trawling of marketplace for the missing bits all add to the fun.

This dress is one of three similar dresses newly released by Livid, and I absolutely fell in love both with the beautiful meshwork and the leather and brocade textures which are so rich and sumptuous.  Parts of the dress almost glitter, in a gothic kinda way.  The leggings came with the dress and are system layer only.  The boots are part of a separate accessories pack, along with a collar and a clutch.  All the items from Livid are general releases, not for an event - that in itself was refreshing, as blogging these days seems almost entirely event driven.

I found the snakebites and bat earrings on marketplace, from another new to me store, Xia's Boutique, but the gorgeous Maxi Gossamer choker was pulled out of my inventory, along with the Adoness hair and beautiful shaved base.
