#368 Gimme some Shorts

One of my favourite pre-mesh outfits was a pair of shorts with a "boyfriend" jacket over it and strappy heels. Sadly, when I tried it on a few years ago, after the arrival of mesh, it looked incredibly dated (I am being nice here), the blouse and jacket being system with sculpty bits which stuck out at weird angles for the lower part of the jacket.  Shudders. 

Only last week I was thinking I need to find another outfit like that in mesh, then serendipitiously these great shorts by DE Designs landed on me, so the jacket hunt was on.  I haven't found it yet but I think the shorts look good with this cardigan by Blueberry (which comes with a dress option too). I had trouble finding a mesh top that would work under the cardigan, so - drum roll please - Zsa is blogging her first ever applier top! To be honest I am still not a fan, too much like going back to the days of system clothing, but I can see it's uses for layering under mesh like this.

The shorts come in both leather (black red and tan) and fabric (blue, forest and the tan I am wearing here), fitted for Belleza, SLink and Maitreya but there is no classic avatar option for this release for technical reasons. You do get a hud allowing you to hide the belt, or texture it in a choice of 4 colours, and two hardware. I am sure I will be blogging them again sometime soon.

And finally, a close up to show you again the gorgeous Aeryn from PXL, and one of my favourite jewelry sets from LNS Designs - I love the dark and light suns of the earrings. I also wanted to show you these eyes by Candace Hudson - it has been a while since I wore them but I will definitely be wearing them more - they are mesh and come in two Iris sizes, plus an easy resizer for the eyes themselves.

#288 Run from the wind

I don't do enough fantasy type blog posts, which is a shame as I really enjoy putting them together.  Maybe its because I don't do rp.  Anyway, when I saw this [ SAKIDE ] outfit (which also comes in black, white and ivory) for The Fantasy Collective I immediately started thinking about what I could do with it.  



This is definitely one of the hairstyles I return to again and again, one of my Top Ten without a doubt.  And this set of poses from KaTink is also one of my real "go to" packs.

#287 Choo Choo!

This fabulous outfit from Leri Miles Designs is available at the current round of My Attic at the Deck in a selection of great colour combinations.  I very rarely wear navy in any life, but I really loved this combination of navy with aqua accents.  

My skybox is a rare gacha prize from Potpourri Designs at The Frost Fair, which runs until 28th December. It is the "Winter Day Simple 5 Prim Skybox".  The gacha is 50L a pull, with lots of goodies which I am hoping I will be able to show more of in another post.  

My Christmas tree is from the Persnickity Christmas Shoppe - it dispenses presents, and the train goes round the track (not telling how long I watched it, kinda hypnotic :).  The owner of Persnickity, Pet, is one of the nicest people on the grid, and if you have not yet visited her lovely shop you really should, particularly if you love shabby chic like I do.

These heels look pretty lethal dont they?  They come with Rowena Spingflower's usual generous hud system, which gives 12 choices for shoe, sole and accent, and 4 for the hardwear.  I love the name of the nail appliers from *pulcino*, Summer Snow - the hud gives you a choice of 10 similarly pretty textures

#283 Say Something

I can't write much today as I am hospital visiting irl, and don't have a lot of time, but I wanted to get this post finished. This outfit from LivGLam consists of a pair of black high waist jeans with a chain belt, and a beautifully textured top.  The top comes with a hud, allowing 3 colour choices for the top, two of which I am showing here, the other being black.

# 278 Something old, something new

Now that I am (sort of) over the shock of losing almost 7000 items from my inventory, I am getting organised and back to blogging.  I love discovering new designers and mixing and matching with some old favourites as I have done here.  



 These snakeskin pants from UNiQ PhaZE are just 50L at Thrift Shop, they are so easy to wear, and come in a variety of texture choices.  I absolutely love the leather top from DaneMarkZ which is beautifully made and also comes in a good selection of colours.  My necklace and earrings are from E C R U, also for Thrift Shop, and available in two sets of 8 colours for just 39L each or both for 65L.  The Ruby (Vermilion) set I am wearing is up up for just 1L  My boots from Baby Monkey come with a hud giving you 18 texture choices for boots, soles, straps and laces and 4 choices for the metal.

Finally a closer look at my very pretty skin which is the .::WoW Skins::. exclusive for the current Designer Circle round, available in bronze, tan and dark tan, for just 99L.  I am wearing the tan here.

#254 After Hours

I was getting ready for a night out and thought I would share my outfit.  My shoes are from LivGlam and come with one of their astounding 64 pantone huds, so you can pretty much match - or contrast - them to everything.  They are add-ons for the SLink high feet.

My little purple dress is another staple from Has Been, and comes with a texture change hud giving 8 very pretty colour choices.  The dress fits absolutely perfectly, no disappearing straps or visible alpha here.

#217 Drift away with me

Today's pose prop is another from Infiniti at the Pose Fair 2014.  As with the previous items I have blogged of theirs, you get a lot in the box - the swing comes with 15 poses (I so wanted to show you them all but even I know I couldn't achieve that and finish this post before the Pose Fair finishes on the 3rd!)  

The main prop comes with the big cloud, but you also get a spare rezzable Little Cloud to use if you wish - and as it is copy and mod you can also resize it as I have here with the smaller one. And finally, you get a box with the single poses in in case you want to use them separately to the prop.  A fantastic idea and amazing value!

My shoes are the new Hopscotch item for Fit for a Princess which started today, and they are just so pretty, beautifully made, really unusual and basically i have fallen in love with them and had to show you all the colours :).
