#456 It all starts with a smile

I named this post in honour of the beautiful sim where I took these pictures - Kaelyn Alecto has very kindly opened up her sim for people to take pictures or just hang out.  There is so much to see and lots of surprises around each corner, I am sure I will be taking more pics there soon.   

My jeans are brand new from Just Because and are available at Uber.  They come in a plethora of great colours and each colour comes with a hud allowing you to change the belt colour.  Of course as always with Annie Melson, the jeans are compatible with a large selection of mesh bodies, plus standard sizing.  As is my jacket from DE Designs, which comes with the integral t-shirt and includes a hud giving you a choice of 6 t-shirt and 2 hardware colours.  If you buy the fatpack (and Doc's prices are so reasonable, why wouldn't you!) of course you get a hud allowing you to change the jacket colours as well.    Both the jeans and the jacket fit perfectly on my Maitreya Lara, and are an absolute joy to wear. 

I am again wearing the boots from Essenz that are currently half price for Mix - I blogged them with a close up here.  My skin is WoW's latest release, exclusively at the Bombshell Event - Delia is exceptionally pretty, and available in 6 tones.

Zsa is shading her eyes to the light that has suddenly started to flood in, allowing her to experience a new (to her) fresh and vibrant Second Life, suddenly alive and exciting after her years languishing in the dark.  Since I started blogging, much of my time has been spent stifled in a studio using backdrops because my pc couldn't handle much more.  Just a few weeks working on a good pc has me seriously questioning how I managed to cope with such inadequate technology for so long.

 Anyway, onto the outfit.  I have a thing about short hair in Second Life,  and as soon as I tried on the Amacci Kittycats Advent prize, Simon (unisex), I was in love and ran to buy some other colours.  Simon is beautifully textured, the layering is sheer perfection and I absolutely love the way it flops over one eye - I will definitely be wearing it again and again.

My pretty skin is one of the rares from 7 Deadly Skins at the OMG - Oh My Gacha event.  My outfit from Lavian comprises of separates and an extensive texture change hud for maximum versatility.  My heels are a favourite from KC Couture - I have blogged them before, click here to see a close up.

 This skirt and top outfit from Flippant comes with a texture change hud. I had trouble choosing which colours to wear, but I think this combo is particularly pretty. The set also comes with a cowl scarf and some cute boots which I am not wearing - they are also texture change via hud.  The outfit is compatible with just about every fitting and mesh bod option you could want. 

I am wearing one of my favourite hairs ever, which comes from Elikatira - I am using the ravens hud and really liked this unusual colour which has the fabulous name of haze mist.

#440 Look what else I found in My Attic, November edition Part 2

l am back with a bevy of goodies from the current round of My Attic at the Deck, but firstly I must mention my skin which is a new group gift at Lumae.  You get every tone in the pack, along with every applier you could ever want - and an added bonus for this redhead (usually) is that Lumiya includes ginger and red brow options and freckle options too.

My hair is one of the goodies from this round of My Attic at the Deck, and like everything during the course of the event, it is just 95L per hud.  I have very little experience of enVogue but I love, love, love this wonderfully high and exquisitely coiffed updo - I will definitely be watching out for more from them.  My dress and shoes are also available at My Attic, both from Fission and both in an array of colour choices.  The final My Attic element in this post is the pose pack from Kirin which I had fun playing with.

Not at My Attic, but definitely worthy of a mention, are my necklace and earrings which are from Indulge Temptation and currently available in 7 different hud versions at Designer Circle.  As with everything I have tried from IT, they are beautifully crafted and the huds make it so versatile.

#439 Look what I found in my attic, November edition

Today I am bringing you lots of goodies from the new round of My Attic at the Deck.   From the top, my fabulous up-do hair is from EMO-tions - it comes with a matching collar which I am not wearing here.  My earrings from Elysium are also from My Attic and come as a set with a necklace which I am not wearing - the set comes in a great selection of colour packs.

My outfit is from Lavian - it is all one piece but comes with a hud allowing you to change top, pants and belt separately in any of a wide selection of classy colours.  It fit absolutely perfectly to my Maitreya Lara mesh body without me having to tweak my alpha other than to hide my legs.  My shoes are brand new original mesh from KC Couture, they are very unusual and of course come with their extensive texture change hud.

#358 Destiny will get you everywhere

This original mesh dress by Ducknipple didn't jump at me from the advert, but that changed as soon as I tried it on.  It really is original, unlike anything I have seen before and I love the poofy pockets, the ruffles, and the strapping and hardware. Of course with it being from Ducknipple, there is a texture change hud to play with - 10 options for the sweater, 2 for the dress.

These fabulous shoes from KC Couture debuted at April's 21Shoe, and I was a happy little blogger when they released the full pack.  They are original mesh, beautifully made, and for the price of less than one pair of shoes from other designers, you also get a hud giving 24 independent options for main, heel and straps, 6 for the sole and 2 for the hardware.  I have added a close up of another combination at the end of this post.

I wanted some specs for this post, but I rarely wear glasses in sl and have very few in my inventory, so I was pleased to find these beautifully crafted Softpaw ones from Krystal.

#333 More from Skin Fair 2015 and newness from Shey

Here is another new face from the Skin Fair.  I have never tried an sYs skin before and they are definitely quite different to my usual style, but I really like the delicacy and softness of the skin and features,

My dress is new from Shey and comes with a hud allowing 15 texture choices for the dress itself, and 12 for the ribbon.  I had no trouble at all fitting it to my SLink Physique. My shoes from KC Couture also come with a hud allowing you a humongous 60 textures for main, trim, metal and heel.

#330 Skin Fair 2015 - PXL

Here I have another batch of skins to show you from Skin Fair 2015, this time the absolutely beautiful Aeryn from PXL

I will be honest, I have known the name PXL for as long as I can remember but for some reason I have never tried their skins before.  I had a real "wow" moment when I tried these on, every tone is absolutely beautiful, with understated make-up and a fresh clean look but without looking too young.  Different in many ways to the skins I normally wear, but I still feel "me" in it if that makes sense?

#329 Skin Fair 2015 - Sn@tch

Today I am showing you some of the truly dramatic make-up Sn@tch have released for the Skin Fair 2015.  

Above I am showing the Cabaret Full Makeup which I absolutely adore, so bold and dramatic, and so easy to wear, I can definitely see these being pulled out for numerous blog posts in the future.

Below is the Nefertiti Eye Makeup, very exotic and mysterious and in a fantastic range of shadow colours.  I have a thing for eyeliner, particularly flips or wings, so these are very me.  There is plenty more to see at the Sn@tch shop at Skin Fair 2015, and I highly recommend you hop over there when crowds allow, and pick some dramatic bargains up.
