I love this dress and jacket set from K-Collection - you have a choice of 3 independent textures each for the dress, jacket and wristband and the whole outfit costs just $99L for Super Sales Weekend.

I have shown a few combos - I really love the unusual textures and the great colour combinations which give a lot of scope for accessorising.

My shoes are a new release from Baby Monkey, who have only just started making shoes for SLinks - these are for the high feet, and come with a texture change hud allowing you to change to any one of 32 textures, which makes the shoes so versatile, you are sure to find a colour to match any outfit.  They are just $300L which is incredible value too.  And studs, got to have anything with studs on!

Poodling Around

This gorgeous skin is the WOW Skins item for The Rockabilly Fashion Fair which starts tomorrow.  There are three skin tones to choose from - milk, tan and sunkissed, with each pack including 3 make-ups plus natural.  In addition, you get a brow base, shape, and appliers for Lush, Lola Tango, Slink hands & feet, Phat Azz and Loud Mouth.  

When I first arrived in SL, over 6 1/2 years ago, I spent more hours than I care to remember on a particular quest - and that was to find a poodle skirt.  I love anything vintage, but particularly 50's - music as well as clothing.  I did eventually find a poodle skirt and loved it - but it was sculpt, came with a hula hoop for some reason, and I really did look like a big pink blancmange.

How SL has changed, thankfully!  Now it is easy to find pretty much whatever your little heart desires in sl.  Anyway, my past poodle skirt scarcity experience meant I couldn't resist this little number from Sn@tch, and you get all 8 colours in the pack, in your chosen size.

More Horrorfest

Today's post is another featuring goodies from Horrorfest.  I love the Keystone "witchy jewels" which adorn my forehead, and come with a texture change hud.  The dress from LouLou fits really well and comes in both the skully version shown here, and a blood spattered one.  And the final Horrorfest item is the pendant - there are many to choose from but I of course have gone for the batty one.

My hair is one of the gifts from Alice Project for their "Halloween Massacre" series - they are giving a free hairstyle every day until October 31st, each of which come in 5 blood spattered colours. In addition, on 3 days there are styles limited to VIP group members.

Introducing AmyLee, bats, skulls and crystals

Today I have some more Horrorfest goodies to share, some Acid Lily, and generally lots of lovely new scrumptiousness.

What I particularly like about this ensemble is that from a distance it looks like an elegant outfit for a gentile night on the town. It is only when you get a bit closer that you start to notice that things are not quite what they seemed at first. 

The gown is new at Sn@tch, and as always, well made and fabulous value.  You get 8 colours in the pack, after you have demo'd it and decided what size you want.  Best of all, it is covered in bats!    I love bats, so  finding this gown caused a big smile to spread across my little pixel face.

The jewelry set I am wearing is from Horrorfest and is a real "statement piece" from a new-to-me designer, AZE.  I love that when you look a bit closer you see the detailing which makes this set very different.  The bracelet set (2 bracelets) is priced at L$200, with 100% of that going to the Horrorfest charity,The Epilepsy Therapy Project.  The earrings are $150 and the necklace $L250.  

The ring is from the current round of Acid Lily, and is available in gold, copper, black onyx and silver.  I tried to get as close as possible to show the fantastic design, it is called "Crystalline" and lives up to the name, with it's fabulous quartz-like design.  The packs include versions for both standard hands and SLinks, which I am wearing here. You also get both single and linked rings, which I am showing, and they have been fitted for middle and ring fingers.   The designer has certainly thought of everything.

And finally, the skin I am wearing is a new release from WOW.  I have no idea why it has taken me so long to try WOW skins.  As soon as I tried AmyLee on I felt very comfortable, which is unusual for me as I have really struggled with finding new skins that feel "right" on me. This skin manages to be fresh faced and pretty, yet not too young looking. The pack includes 5 make-ups including bare, a shape (though I am wearing my own here), and two tattoos - freckles and more freckles.

Every week I find my way to LIV-Glam at some point to see what their offers are - thankfully they keep them up all week, so it is rarely a case of "too late".  Here I am wearing Stacy which was 49L for Secret Wednesday.  There are 6 different colours of flower hem via the HUD system of which I am so enamoured (anything that stops invo clutter has to be a good thing).

The  hair I have on is new from Tameless, and is also operated via HUD, yay!  I was so pleased when I saw this style as it is completely different to any style I have in my invo, and I have a LOT of hair!  The headband is texture change, and I love the three plaits and the wispy strands at the side of the face.

Finally, I just had to show you this quirky Vintage DJ ring I found from [MAGIC NOOK] at the Dressing Room Fusion.
