#408 Blogging by the skin of my teeth

I have to finish this blog post quickly as Sakide's Smoking Jacket is available at the Vintage and Cool Fair which ends today.  It is available in an array of delicious colours and each pack has a plain jacket and one with either black or white lapels. it comes in five standard sizes but I was able to fit it to Maitreya Lara with some alpha tweaks.

My necklace and earring set is just one of a number that Indulge Temptations has available for 60L each till 9th of September midnight for 55LThursday.  They are 100% mesh, materials enabled, HUD driven, resizable (x,y,z), and depending on which pack you buy, have up to 10 bead colour options and 10 metal types.

My heels from Glamistry probably need nothing more than just to leave you to drool at them in the close up below.  However, in case you have been living under a pixel rock for a while and are new to Glamistry, I will just tell you that as well as making some of the most drool-worthy shoes in sl, Glamistry's hud allows you to purchase more colours directly from the hud itself, and every colour you buy is added to the pool from which you can customise multiple areas.

#405 Ocho Tango on the Rocks

I am back at the Vintage & Cool Fair again today, quite fitting as in my first sl incarnation 8 1/2 years ago, I spent much of my first year hunting the grid to find a poodle skirt - yes, a poodle skirt.  I have always loved vintage clothing, particularly anything fifties and whereas today we have so much choice, at that time vintage stuff was very sparse.  My earlier incarnation would have thought she had died and gone to sl heaven if she had found a dress like this.  It is from Leri Miles Design and is available in 12 delicious colours.  As always with Leri, her texturing is perfection, and although it is not sold as mesh body compatible, I had no issue fitting it to my Maitreya Lara mesh body.  


My shoes are new from KC Couture are compatible with Belleza, Eve, Slink, TMP and Maitreya.  Of course it comes with Klari's humongously generous hud allowing you to change 7 shoe parts separately, and she has again included an extra selection of patterns for the main part of the shoe - I hope she keeps on doing this, I love it!

# 269 Adele at the Vintage & Cool Fair

 I have been out of action for a few weeks after my pc died, and I struggled a few days on an old laptop till I bought a stopgap PC from eBay (yes, really!) until I can afford a new one .  Anyway, I am back and I need to get comfortable with my new set up and recreate all my programs and settings, but I wanted to get something blogged as soon as I could.

I have loads on my want to blog list but thought I would start with this cute skirt and sweater from Sakide at the Vintage & Cool Fair.  It comes in 7 different colour choices, 4 of which I am showing here, and you can also buy the matching shoes (SLink high add-ons).  Both the skirt and shoes come with huds containing 8 very different different textures within the colour scheme.

My hair is new in store from *~*Damselfly*~* and comes in both the rigged version I am wearing here and their new flexi mesh that goes on a two piece mesh hair that includes a non-rigged portion so you can resize it.  You get both options in the pack so you can wear it whatever way works best for you.
