#304 21Shoe January 2015 Blog Post #2 - Ingenue

These beautifully crafted shoes are from Ingenue who are offering Marie, a classic pump/court shoe, at this month's round of 21Shoe.  If you are new to 21Shoe, follow the link to visit the 21Shoe website, or there is a brief explanation of the event just above my credits.  

Marie comes in two beautiful colours, wine and latte.  I love the classic lines, the tapered heel shape, and the use of the polka dot texture on the body of the shoe. These shoes are both classy and classic.  You get both colours for just $L295, which includes copies for SLink, Maitreya and Belleza Venus mesh bodies.  An absolute bargain!

#303 21Shoe January Post 2015 #1 - Sax Shepherd Designs

It's that time again, the 21st of the month is coming up and therefore, one of my favourite monthly events, 21Shoe (website link as all 21Shoe items are sold in each designers main store).   In this post I am showing you the 21Shoe items from one of my favourite designers, Sax Shepherd.  

In case you are unfamiliar with the 21Shoe event, on the 21st, for just 24 hours, the participating designers will offer two exclusive pairs of shoes for the price of one - and in this case exclusive means just that, they will never again be offered in the same texture or design.  

This round for 21Shoe, Sax is offering two exclusive colours of his Tease Jeweled Stilettos for SLink high feet for just L$299 for the two.  Tease Stilettos have only previously been available as a gacha item, and are exquisite and delicate in a way that all of Sax's creations are. These two exclusive colors, Temptation Blue and Nude Rose, are baked in gold lamé and metallic satins, and are materials enabled.  They come with a single HUD allowing 8 different mix and match jewel options - I am showing you a selection of the many different combinations possible.

#296 Stripes

I am showing another beautiful new skin from .::WoW Skins::., available at the current round of Designer Circle.  My necklace and earring set are one of a few I grabbed along at the Maxi Gossamer 50% off sale.  I don't know how long the sale will be on so best check quickly if you want some bargain goodies.

I am wearing a new outfit from CV which consists of a skirt and a jacket with integral top to match the skirt.  The set is available in an array of colours, but I rarely wear stripes so thought I would ring the changes a bit.  I am really liking everything I have seen from CV  so far and am looking forward to whatever they release next.



I adore these shoes from DE Boutique (no slurl for the new store available yet) which will be available in the January round of Designer Showcase, and are available in grey (worn here), black, brown, beige and white.

#294 The Chair

This fabulous Tramell chair  is a colab between Kuro and Junk for this month's Atalier Kreslo.  It comes in 6 variations, each with 6 animations, 2 of which I am showing here.  As would be expected of Kuro and Junk, it is beautifully made and textured, and undeniably out of the ordinary.  A glance of those crossed legs makes me smile every time (the chairs, not mine!)!

My outfit from Absolut Vendetta is one of the ones that got deleted in my inventory disaster last month (read about it  here) - I got this one back thanks to the designer who sent it personally, which I really appreciate.  I am going to work through all the items I got back this way, as a small way to say thank you to the sl stores and designers who really do go out of their way for their customers.  The outfit comes with an extensive texture change hud, as do my boots from Lapointe & Bastchild.

My skin is from Center Ville and is my first skin from them.  I am really fussy about skins, so much so that it is only recently I have managed to force myself out of my Belleza comfort blanket.  So when I this skin wasn't expecting to like it but I was so wrong, it is really beautiful, and I will definitely be featuring Center Ville skins again. 

My necklace is the Glint prize for the Candy Cane Hunt which runs till tomorrow, December 25th - but I am hoping that because of the holidays it will be out a bit longer.

#293 Hopscotch for 21Shoe

l am happy to see one of my favourite designers , Chandni of *~*HopScotch*~*, taking part in 21Shoe again this month.  Two pairs of shoes will be available at the  *~*HopScotch*~* shop, tomorrow only, December 21st - never again will they be offered in these texture combinations.  So you get not only two exclusive items, but also two for the price of one.

First we have Vevina which are made for SLink flat feet and which are in my opinion just about the cutest flatties on the grid.  These are great with jeans or capris, or if like me you love vintage style, these are absolutely perfect with 50's style circular skirts.

And next we have "Ice Ice Baby" which are unrigged, so they can be resized, repositioned etc so you don't have to wear SLinks with them.  However, if you want to wear them with your SLink medium feet, you will also need to wear the Ankle Lock which is available for free at the SLink store.   I love skating in sl (and irl but never get chance these days sadly) but have usually worn one of those awful free pairs - now I won't have to, yay!

#292 Sax Shepherd for 21Shoe

 I was thrilled to see that Sax Shepherd is participating again in this month's 21Shoe event, and is offering a pack of two gorgeous pairs of Jeweled Stilettos for just L$399.  This offer is only available on 21 December at Sax's mainstore, and includes an exclusive pair of my favourite ever shoes for SLink high feet, Mata Hari.

The shoe above is a sneak peek at Sax's soon to be released Aphrodite range.  This special Holiday Edition comes with a hud allowing many texture change options allowing you to match them to all your holiday fashions.  There are red, blue and green soles with gold, platinum and black titanium jewelry options. There are also jewels to choose from including several photo realistic diamonds, onyx, sapphires, rubies, and emeralds.  I have shown you a few of the possible combinations, and there is another in the close-up in the collage below. After the 21Shoe event Holiday Aphrodite will only be sold during the holidays at the !! SSD (Sax Shepherd Designs) mainstore at its full price of L$599.

The shoe above is Mata Hari Oyster Satin and is pearlescent oyster satin highlighted with gold jewelry pieces and mother of pearl - this shoe is exclusive to 21Shoe and will never again be sold in this colour after the event.  The shoe in the bottom right in this collage is a close up of another possible colour combination of the Aphrodite Holiday Edition.

If you have never tried Sax's shoes before, I encourage you not to let this chance pass you by - he is an artist in real life and it shows - his shoes are absolutely exquisite, and I don't use that word lightly.  I had never found any shoes for the SLink high feet that didn't make the foot look deformed and extremely uncomfortable, until I discovered Sax's shoes, and I have been a committed fan ever since. Thankfully there are now many designers making wonderful shoes for high SLinks, but I will always have a soft spot for Sax's beautiful creations.

#291 Catch a falling snow flake

Tomm is away on business for a few days so instead of doing all the things she should be doing, Zsa decided to put on her wellies (or gum boots if you are posh) and play in the snow, doing her very best to catch a snowflake, but not finding it very easy.

While she is otherwise occupied, let me tell you what she is wearing.  Her cozy jacket comes in a pack of 3 different textures from Irries Dollhouse for the Flawless Gingerbread Block Party & Hunt Event which runs until January 2.  Her dress is one of many lovely colour choices from Centreville.  It has short sleeves and would be great for a night out dancing, but Zsa wanted to wear it to play in the snow, and who am I to argue, I'm just the typist that does all the work for her while she frolics in the snow like a fool - she never thanks me either!

Her snowflake poses come from Eternal Dream who are sponsoring the Better Not Pout Gacha Hunt which runs until 31 December.  These poses and others can be found in the gacha machine at their store.  

Ah, she got one, hopefully she will go back indoors now to check on the kittycats

Silly girl just put the snowflake in her pocket, "like the song" she said - I didn't like to tell her the song is actually about catching a falling star, not a snowflake.  She will find out when she finds she has a very soggy pocket and no snowflake - but at least she will have these photos to remind her of the day she caught one, even for a brief moment.

#289 Voluminosity

I wanted to show you the new full release from .::WoW Skins::., a lovely new skin called Monica - I was thrilled to see that it has the option of red eyebrows, and also a new skin tone, golden.  

Below I am showing you a few different combinations put together with three items from a new-to-me designer, CentreVille, available at The Unique Mini Fair event, which ends on Dec 22nd. 



The top comes in a selection colours, plains and prints, the skirt in a range of colours to contrast/match, and the Female Suit Cropped jacket comes in black with an intrinsic top in a selection of colours to match/contrast with the the skirt.  So there are plenty of mix and match options available when you buy any of these items, and I will definitely be watching out for more releases from this designer.

#281 Hopscotch does 21Shoe too!

For 21Shoe today, another designer participating for the first time is Hopscotch. Chandni is one of the sweetest and most prolific designers in SL, and her items are always unique and beautifully made. She is offering two exclusive pairs of shoes for Slink medium feet for the price of one, but only today, the 21st - these shoes will never be sold again.

The first shoe is a brand new design in an exclusive colour ‘Caged’. More colours will be released, but this colour will never be available again.

Along with Caged, you will get an exclusive colour of Sidney, there will be other colours released, but never again this colour

#280 Sax Shepherd does 21Shoe

One of my favourite ever SLink shoe designers, Sax Shepherd, is participating for the first time this month in 21Shoe. I love this event as you get 2 exclusive pairs of shoes for an incredible price.  The event starts at midnight on the 21st and only lasts for 24 hours, so you need to fly to the Sax Shepherd shop and pick them up before they are gone forever.  Sax is offering two exclusives In Winter Houndstooth - you get both pairs of shoes for just L$299!  If you have not had the pleasure of wearing shoes by Sax Shepherd before, you are in for a treat - he is an artist in real life, and it shows in the items he designs in SL, which are truly exquisite.  

First I am showing the Buttons Mules for the Slink Medium Heel foot - they are non-rigged and come with a hud to allow for the vamp panel to switch between black/red and black/white houndstooth as well as black, red or white piping, a black or white innersole, and black, red or white buttons/thread.  I have shown you two of the many combinations below:

Next are the Saddle Janes Flats for the Slink Flat foot, but also provided with an alpha and options for system feet. Again they are hud controlled, and allow for the saddle panel to switch between black/red and black/white houndstooth as well as black, red, or white piping and a black or white inner sole. Non-Rigged and easy to adjust to any mesh body that has a flat foot option.  Again, showing you two of the hud options below:

Additionally, Sax is providing an in-store add-on which includes non-rigged Bows Mules and a rigged-mesh Classic Waist Cincher in the same houndstooth fabrics for L$149.  After the event the Bows Mules and Cincher set will return to normal store pricing of L$349.  As I didn't have time to use these in photos, here is the vendor artwork:

Today I am showing another of Candace Hudson's gorgeous mesh and flexi mixes.  This is the Hudson's prize for the aptly named Megastuff Hunt, which is a combination of Menstuff, Womestuff and Homestuff - more info on the hunt can be found on the Womenstuff website here.   My sandals are no longer available in this colour as they were part of the 21 Shoe! event where the shoes are only available for one day.  However, there are plenty of other colours available in the ::HH:: Hucci main shop though.
