#250 The Night Cat

Today I am showing off another stunning new Belleza skin, exclusive to a new event, Uber.   I got the SK but Beth is also available in pale, and comes with 6 different make-ups.  She really is so beautiful, and quite different to the new full release, Claudia.  

Truth has some hair out at Uber too, and long, wavy, hair band, has me all over it.  Love it!  My jewellery is an oldie but goodie from [LNS Designs]  who  make some of the most beautiful original mesh items on the grid in my opinion.

As soon as I saw this outfit from LivGlam I had to wear it - why?  Well cats of course!  The shorts and jacket are static, but you have a hud with 3 very different choices for the t-shirt (only one of them feline).  Fantastic value at less than 100L.  I have matched it with a pair of their shoes which comes with a 64 pantone hud making it very easy to find the shade I wanted to go with the outfit.

 All the poses in this post are from the In My Shoes prop from WetCat - you can see a bit of the prop in the photo above.  I love that not only has it great poses for showing shoes but also for general posing.

#249 Where the not-so-wild little unicorn roams

 I am bringing you a real mish mash of newness today.  My cute outfit is the Leri Miles Designs Cupcakes Anonymous Hunt gift, and comprises the tank and skirt, beautifully textured and real fun to wear.  My cute little companion is one of the rares from MOoH! at the Where the Wild Things are Gacha event.  Though you can't see them clearly he has butterflies flying round his head, and you can also sit on the mushroom (pic of me doing so is on flickr),  

 I am wearing Belleza's new Claudia again and falling more in love with her each time I wear her. The red eyebrows are the best I have come across yet (I am wearing the dark here), and the freckles, moles, lipstick and make-up choices are enough to keep me happy finding new combinations for a long long time.  I thought the skin was a perfect match for the newish hair from  ^;^CaTwA^;^, which comes with a load of flexi add-ons, and bangs options should you wish to use them. 

My nails are one of two new sets from -{ZOZ}- for the current round of Designer Showcase

Last, but absolutely not least, I have paired my outfit with some of Luana Dawg of aru's new add ons for SLink flatties.  They are available in five other colours and are, as you would expect from Luana, just perfect, beautifully made and a joy to wear - and also a little different to anything else I have seen before.

#247 You can't take the sky

To show you another Hair Fair 2014 item I decided to go to the beach and wear the new string bikini from Sn@tch.  You get 8 colour choices in the pack and you get the unrigged separate top and bottom or the whole rigged bikini in one (which I am using).

#244 Zsa gets spiky at Hair Fair 2014

Today I am showing you Adoness's hairstyles for Hair Fair 2014.  I am a big fan of Cruella Pennell's punky styles, and always have fun dressing up for them.  I love the shaved bases she provides, and each of the bases for these styles is quite different, so you can mix and match and create plenty of new looks.

Although all three styles are punky/spiky/shaved, the styles are very different.  Adoness also have a dollarbie out at Hair Fair, I just forgot to take a pic along with these.

My outfit from Liv-Glam comes with a texture change hud giving 3 choices, and also comes in fitmesh options - I am wearing the fitmesh top and it fits like a dream.  My polish is from one of two sets available at the current round of Cosmopolitan Sales Room, but it finishes tomorrow (the 19th) so you need to be quick to snap them up

#241 "You're the one that I want!"

I have been trying to put together a post using *~*HopScotch*~*''s fantastic rock set for Rhapsody all week but I have been having one of those blogger block weeks where nothing looked right. 

Then I saw the new group gift from  ::Sn@tch, immediately had visions of Olivia Newton John in Grease, and voila! Ok, Olivia didn't actually play air guitar, but I bet she would have if she could have.

Chandni's fantastic Rock your World set is 100% original mesh, textures and poses and comes with the stage as shown (you can see more of it on my flickr page, super troupers and all, at the link below the credits).  I love the spotlights, but for the closer photos I have edited the set and unlinked and derendered the lights just to show you the clothes clearer.  

There are three positions on stage, so you can pose with friends, or pose yourself middle, left or right.  Each position comes with 14 unisex poses.  You also get two microphones and five different background textures.

The :::Sn@tch gift of leggings and crop top comes in 7 colours in standard sizes, and the choker in black as shown.

The seriously sexy shoes from Liv Glam come with a texture change hud with 7 textures for straps and toebox and 8 for the heel.  The -{ZOZ}- piano key nails are great, and again can be picked up at Rhapsody .

Rhapsody finishes on the 12th so you really need to hot foot it down there and get some fabulous goodies.

#239 Rhapsody on the Stairway to Heaven (with cupcakes on top)

Another post from the fabulous Rhapsody.  The first item is a pose/prop set by Infiniti, a store that was new to me until the Pose Fair a few months ago, but I immediately became  a huge fan of Brandi Monroe's work.  Apart from her fabulous props and poses, she always adds loads of extras - in this case you get the ladder with and without clouds, a "spare" cloud you can rezz, resize, copy etc so you can have as few or as many clouds as you wish, and a box of just the poses in case you want to use them on their own.  Brandi has sized the poses using SLink mid feet and casual right and elegant left hand.  In my case I have used the SLink high feet because I wanted to wear the -{ZOZ}-footstraps.

I absolutely love this hair from Milk for Rhapsody - of course I bought the reds but love it so much I may well go back and buy another colour pack.

I really really love these foot straps  They aren't from Rhapsody , they were at Cosmo Sales Room, but will be available at the -{ZOZ}- store at some point.

My outfit is also from Rhapsody, from a new to me store, N2 Pixel Studio, is really nicely textured, fun to wear, and comes in an array of yummy colour combos - you buy the top and shorts separately so can mix and match as you wish.

#237 "I can't think about that right now. If I do, I'll go crazy. I'll think about that tomorrow"

I am dedicating this post to someone who will probably never read it as she has left SL.  When I was looking for quotes for the title, so many of them reminded me of her as she possesses much of Scarlett O'Hara's fire and drama, as well as her beauty.  Life as her sister was certainly never boring.  Nita/Chrissie, this one's for you.  I miss you and hope life brings you only good things.

The latest round of The Seraphim Social has a Gone with the Wind theme, which brought out a bit of the dramatic diva in me, and made me reach for some filmish frames to set the scene.  I am not a big hat person but I think the hat that comes with this lovely outfit from Sakide really helps set the mood.

The jewellery set from Cae is also to be found at The Seraphim Social, along with my manicure and pedicure, from ZOZ.  

My shoes were just 50L in the gacha at Sax Shepherd Designs, and come with a hud allowing you to customise the jewel colours.  This design is still one of my favourite ever shoes for SLink high feet, they are so elegant.  Sax is an artist in real life, and it really shows in his gorgeous creations in second life.

#236 One day left for Lapointe & Bastchild Fashion for Life exclusives

This will be my last Fashion for Life post as it closes tomorrow, the 20th.  I just had to show you these truly fabulous capris from Lapointe & Bastchild - I have been on a quest to find capris that I like for about two years, and here, I finally found them - thank you L & B! 

There are two exclusive editions - the candy version (with 8 texture choices) I am wearing here, and a denim version (which has 6 texture choices).  Neither will be sold again after FFL. so if you are a huge Lapointe & Bastchild fan like me, waste no time, run and get yours before they are gone forever!

I absolutely love this top from FireBird Designs for the Thrift Shop.  It comes with a texture change hud with a great selection of textures (16) and I am actually wearing the fitted mesh version - only the second time I have been able to wear fitted mesh without it looking very odd on me. So yay!

My sandals and jewellery are both from the lovely Maxi Gossamer, who continues to put out some of the prettiest jewellery and sandals in sl.  The jewellery can be found at the current round of Collabor88.
