#497 ZZ makes a decision

Because the slave typist behind ZZ hasn't been well this week, ZZ has been bored and chomping at the bit to get some blogging done - though I notice she has not spent any of her spare time constructively - for example in attempting to sort out the chaos that is her inventory. 

Today I am sharing some goodies from FaMESHed and The Tropical Summer Fair.  My hair is brand new from Elikatira for FaMESHed, and available in Elika's great selection of packs, all containing a great selection of solid colours and ombres.  My necklace and earrings are both by RealEvil Industries for The Tropical Summer Fair and come with a hud allowing a variety of textures to choose from.  

My shoes are new from KC Couture and come with their extensive texture change hud and range of sizes.  My dress is new from Lavian, and comes with a hud allowing a huge selection of colours and textures for both the main dress and the sheer overskirt.  As always, Sam Jones's eye for texturing really shows, but left this poor little Libran in a quandary as to which to show.  This quandary was quadrupled (say that quickly 6 times) as this dress also comes in 3 more packs.  I think I need to go and lie down in a quiet room to get over the trauma of being forced to make a decision.  I am Libran, after all!

When I saw this lovely dress from Entice (available in a range of pretty colours) I thought it had a vintage feel so I added this glamorous hair from Emo-tions at Hairology, and brought out some old and new items from my inventory that also have a vintage vibe.  Some pointless trivia - one of my rl nicknames as a kid was Buttercup - for a reason - but I won't bore you with that here :).

#415 Look what I found in My Attic!

A new round of My Attic at the Deck opens tomorrow, the 21st, and I am showing you some sneak peeks of the goodies available - the theme this month is Town & Country.  I have to confess that I have been suffering event fatigue recently and don't go to nearly as many as I used to, but I try never to miss My Attic as the quality is always great, there is a great mix of old and new (to me) designers, and everything is just 95L (to cost at least 250L when they go to the main stores).  What's not to love!

Anyway, onto the goodies - my hair is from EMO-tions and is a casual tousled messy floppy do which I love.  It comes in all the expected colour packs and as well as having a great range of textures in your chosen hud, you can also change the colour of the ribbon. It is great to see Cae taking part in this round with their equestrian set which is very cute.  It comes with a hud allowing you to choose from silver, copper and gold.

My chinos are from a new to me designer, The Annex, they fit great and come in a great selection of colours.  They also have a sweater vest available which is just as cute if not more so, but I wanted to wear this hair which covers the sweater too much.

#405 Ocho Tango on the Rocks

I am back at the Vintage & Cool Fair again today, quite fitting as in my first sl incarnation 8 1/2 years ago, I spent much of my first year hunting the grid to find a poodle skirt - yes, a poodle skirt.  I have always loved vintage clothing, particularly anything fifties and whereas today we have so much choice, at that time vintage stuff was very sparse.  My earlier incarnation would have thought she had died and gone to sl heaven if she had found a dress like this.  It is from Leri Miles Design and is available in 12 delicious colours.  As always with Leri, her texturing is perfection, and although it is not sold as mesh body compatible, I had no issue fitting it to my Maitreya Lara mesh body.  


My shoes are new from KC Couture are compatible with Belleza, Eve, Slink, TMP and Maitreya.  Of course it comes with Klari's humongously generous hud allowing you to change 7 shoe parts separately, and she has again included an extra selection of patterns for the main part of the shoe - I hope she keeps on doing this, I love it!

#316 Belle of his Heart

For today's post I am wearing another set of the fabulous Belle Hearts jewelry by Zuri.  They are so beautifully made, and absolutely perfect if you are looking for something for Valentine's Day.  I love this set because it is striking, yet not ostentatious.

This gorgeous sleek gown I am wearing is from Shey, and has been in my inventory for well over a year.  It comes with a hud giving a choice of 20 rich textures. It isn't fitmesh but I had no issue with using it with the Lara mesh body - as with most low cut tops, I found that neither Belleza Venus or SLink Physique worked well with this gown, because they have far fewer areas round the boobs that you can alpha out, whereas Lara has plenty.

My shoes are another gorgeous set from Mundos, coming with their amazing texture change hud allowing you to customise individually 8 different sections with 24 different textures - giving you both sequin and plain options for the heel.  In the box you get copies rigged to TMP, Belleza, SLink and Maitreya.

#237 "I can't think about that right now. If I do, I'll go crazy. I'll think about that tomorrow"

I am dedicating this post to someone who will probably never read it as she has left SL.  When I was looking for quotes for the title, so many of them reminded me of her as she possesses much of Scarlett O'Hara's fire and drama, as well as her beauty.  Life as her sister was certainly never boring.  Nita/Chrissie, this one's for you.  I miss you and hope life brings you only good things.

The latest round of The Seraphim Social has a Gone with the Wind theme, which brought out a bit of the dramatic diva in me, and made me reach for some filmish frames to set the scene.  I am not a big hat person but I think the hat that comes with this lovely outfit from Sakide really helps set the mood.

The jewellery set from Cae is also to be found at The Seraphim Social, along with my manicure and pedicure, from ZOZ.  

My shoes were just 50L in the gacha at Sax Shepherd Designs, and come with a hud allowing you to customise the jewel colours.  This design is still one of my favourite ever shoes for SLink high feet, they are so elegant.  Sax is an artist in real life, and it really shows in his gorgeous creations in second life.

#235 Lilies for Fashion for Life

This is a quick post to show you this absolutely beautiful gown that Sage have released for Fashion for Life.  It is available in the white I am wearing here, and in pink - the top and skirt are separates so you can mix and match with other items.  The floral textures are beautifully done and it really is a deliciously feminine and fresh outfit that I absolutely love.

You still have until the 20th to go and explore Fashion for Life and buy some goodies for yourself while helping out a fantastic cause in the process.

#228 Liberian Girl

I have been a bit set in my ways eyes-wise for way too long - I have tried loads but always gone scuttling back to my normal eye comfort blanket.  

That changed yesterday when I went to pick up the new subscribo gifts at Poetic Colors. Instead of just putting them in my bottomless pit of an unboxing folder, I actually opened them right away - and fell completely in love on the spot! They are beautifully hand painted, with a luminosity that I think really gives a spark of life to the eyes.  You get plenty of choice in the box - mesh eyes with scripted resize and glow, regular eyes, three levels of white, and three sizes of Iris.  I went back and bought some other colours and have no doubt they will be a regular on my blogs in future.

My outfit is new from LivGlam and comes with a texture change HUD giving six choices for top and pants.  I really love the texturing on this outfit, and also the colour choices.  This set is on offer for Secret Wednesday, but there is also a sister set with very different textures available at the current round of Fashion Stars.

The shoes are also LivGlam.K Collection and come with a hud giving 10 texture choices for heel, strap and sole, and 3 for the other sole area.  They were previously on offer last Secret Wednesday but are still well worth getting at full price.
