#437 Liberté, égalité, fraternité

I don't usually start a post with shoes, but I wanted to use the colours of the French flag somewhere in this post, so they come first.  My thoughts and prayers continue to be with our French brothers and sisters.  

The shoes are by Baby Monkey, and come with a basics hud but you can also buy a full hud if you want more than the 9 basic textures.  They are very pretty shoes and you can change 3 different shoe parts independently, so even better!  My hair is a new release from Elikatira for Hairology, and Elika has left me in another quandary, because this is yet another "do" I don't want to take off!

My dress is from Leri Miles Designs for The Jackpot Gacha Fair. This is a new kind of gacha event, as it will have 3 bonus levels: 1, 2 or 3 free pulls that will be won randomly, a chance with every pull!. So for example play XY Machine XY times and you will have a chance at winning a bonus, that can be 1, 2 or 3 free pulls. The bonus is totally random and it merely depends on luck.  There will also be a Gacha Jackpot of 50 free pulls to use at the fair and a huge sign in the sim will show the name of the winner.  Good luck!

I am showing above the two rares - the rainbow (my favourite) is rare and the black is ultrarare.  I am showing the other colours below.  Leri has as always textured this gown beautifully.

This is a very quick post as My Attic at The Deck has just two days to go,  so if you want to pick up this lovely dress from Leri Miles Designs you need to get there before the September round ends on the 30th.  The dress comes in a variety of delicious colours with equally delicious names but can only be picked up for the discount price of 95L at My Attic, after which it will be full price at the main store.

#405 Ocho Tango on the Rocks

I am back at the Vintage & Cool Fair again today, quite fitting as in my first sl incarnation 8 1/2 years ago, I spent much of my first year hunting the grid to find a poodle skirt - yes, a poodle skirt.  I have always loved vintage clothing, particularly anything fifties and whereas today we have so much choice, at that time vintage stuff was very sparse.  My earlier incarnation would have thought she had died and gone to sl heaven if she had found a dress like this.  It is from Leri Miles Design and is available in 12 delicious colours.  As always with Leri, her texturing is perfection, and although it is not sold as mesh body compatible, I had no issue fitting it to my Maitreya Lara mesh body.  


My shoes are new from KC Couture are compatible with Belleza, Eve, Slink, TMP and Maitreya.  Of course it comes with Klari's humongously generous hud allowing you to change 7 shoe parts separately, and she has again included an extra selection of patterns for the main part of the shoe - I hope she keeps on doing this, I love it!

#398 Look what I found in My Attic!

One of my favourite monthly events is My Attic at the Deck, where items are priced at just 95L for the duration of the event, which is 21st - 31st of each month.  My top, capris, jewellery and shoes are all from this month's "Cruise Report" themed My Attic but with only a few days left, you will need to run to grab these bargains.  

My top and capris by Leri Miles, are bought separately and come in a large range of colours so you can mix and match as you wish.  My jewellery is from a new-to-me store, Meva, and I just love the nautical theme.  

I will show my navel piercing in close up in another post, but I just have to say that it is the first piercing I have had that is fitted to mesh bodies, and honestly it makes life so much easier.  This one is fitted to Maitreya Lara (also available separately fitted for Belleza Isis and Freya), and gives you 6 different fitmesh options (to allow for the differing navel positioning on whatever skin you are wearing) and an unrigged version you can move and resize, so you can find your perfect fit.  It also comes with KC Couture's extensive hud allowing a myriad of texture change options.  

My flatties are also from My Attic at the Deck and come rigged for Maitreya, Slink and Belleza flat feet - and there is a wide variety of colours to choose from and at 95L

#340 Confessions of a groupie at the Rock Attitude Fashion Fair

I am happy to be blogging Rock Attitude Fashion Fair 2 (will call it RAFF from now on) again this year, I found some new-to-me stores at the Fair last year, who have become firm favourites.  I also love how different designers interpret the genre - Leri Miles Designs is perhaps not a store that I would have associated with "rock" but Leri has put a cleverly different spin on it, and here I present ZsaZsa the Groupie!  I hasten to add that the only person I am a groupie of is of course the multi talented Mr Tomm Maddaloni. Moving swifty on, Leri's dress is available in 8 pretty colourways.  

My skin from Wow is also from RAFF and is of course absolutely beautiful.  Sidney comes in 5 skin tones.  The lips and eyeliner are also from WOW but this time from the Charlize pack at RFL. I didn't like the full shots I took so have added a close up of my shoes from KC Couture which as always come with their mammoth (in options, not size!) hud allowing 40 texture choices for main, straps, sole and heel, and 3 for the metals.

I have never encountered Ayashi hair before but I will definitely be checking them out because I simply love this style, the textures and the colour ranges available.  Again it is available at RAFF.

#287 Choo Choo!

This fabulous outfit from Leri Miles Designs is available at the current round of My Attic at the Deck in a selection of great colour combinations.  I very rarely wear navy in any life, but I really loved this combination of navy with aqua accents.  

My skybox is a rare gacha prize from Potpourri Designs at The Frost Fair, which runs until 28th December. It is the "Winter Day Simple 5 Prim Skybox".  The gacha is 50L a pull, with lots of goodies which I am hoping I will be able to show more of in another post.  

My Christmas tree is from the Persnickity Christmas Shoppe - it dispenses presents, and the train goes round the track (not telling how long I watched it, kinda hypnotic :).  The owner of Persnickity, Pet, is one of the nicest people on the grid, and if you have not yet visited her lovely shop you really should, particularly if you love shabby chic like I do.

These heels look pretty lethal dont they?  They come with Rowena Spingflower's usual generous hud system, which gives 12 choices for shoe, sole and accent, and 4 for the hardwear.  I love the name of the nail appliers from *pulcino*, Summer Snow - the hud gives you a choice of 10 similarly pretty textures

#256 Lexy among the flowers

I love this little dress from Leri Miles Designs - it is so fresh and pretty, and made me want to frolic amongst the flowers.  So I did, cos this is sl, and I can do anything I want!

#249 Where the not-so-wild little unicorn roams

 I am bringing you a real mish mash of newness today.  My cute outfit is the Leri Miles Designs Cupcakes Anonymous Hunt gift, and comprises the tank and skirt, beautifully textured and real fun to wear.  My cute little companion is one of the rares from MOoH! at the Where the Wild Things are Gacha event.  Though you can't see them clearly he has butterflies flying round his head, and you can also sit on the mushroom (pic of me doing so is on flickr),  

 I am wearing Belleza's new Claudia again and falling more in love with her each time I wear her. The red eyebrows are the best I have come across yet (I am wearing the dark here), and the freckles, moles, lipstick and make-up choices are enough to keep me happy finding new combinations for a long long time.  I thought the skin was a perfect match for the newish hair from  ^;^CaTwA^;^, which comes with a load of flexi add-ons, and bangs options should you wish to use them. 

My nails are one of two new sets from -{ZOZ}- for the current round of Designer Showcase

Last, but absolutely not least, I have paired my outfit with some of Luana Dawg of aru's new add ons for SLink flatties.  They are available in five other colours and are, as you would expect from Luana, just perfect, beautifully made and a joy to wear - and also a little different to anything else I have seen before.
