#442 Cake by the Ocean

My outfit today comprises a top and skirt set that Lavian released for 55L Thursday - it should still be available at the offer price until this Thursday, when the new offers are placed out.  It comes in standard sizes but I had no issues fitting it to my Maitreya Lara mesh body, even with the front split.  The pack includes a hud giving 8 textures for top, skirt and lace inset.  

My Slink and Belleza compatible pumps are still available as I publish this post on the new releases wall at Baby Monkey which means that if you are a group member you get 50% off for a limited time.  They come with a basics hud giving you 9 colours to choose from for the shoe and trim and 4 for the spikes.

......to do a mesh-free outfit, but just can't do without my mesh hands.  

I based this almost mesh free look around Massoom's lovely 55L Thursday dress, which is still out in the shop.  I even managed to wear non mesh hair and jewellery.

Despite my love of mesh, I do still love flexis for dancing, and I tried to show the movement of the dress here, something which mesh just can't compare with. 

It was fun trying to put together a non-mesh outfit but in reality, I can't see myself buying much non-mesh at all in the future.

PurpleMoon Creations always has some goodies for both the 55L Thursdays and 60L Weekends.  This lovely floaty dress is one of three in last week's 55L Thursday (item #223) - still available but obviously it will change tomorrow.  The other two choices are pink and orangey (sorry, a better description of the colour escapes me right now!).

This dress is really beautiful, it is strapless, and having both flexi and sculpty parts, it has the "floatiness" that I love and which sadly mesh, as much as I love it, cannot provide.
