Blow Them Away

For the current round of The Kollective, with the theme Blustery Cold Weather, I was thrilled but had a minor blogger meltdown when I found out I had been partnered with Chigadee London, the creator behind Couture Chapeau.since 2006.  I have no experience of wearing hats in either life, so this post takes me way beyond my blogging comfort zone and I wanted to do justice to Chigadee's incredible creations for the Blow Them Away collection which pays homage to style icon Isabella Blow   I have deliberately styled these pics as simply as possible, so that the important part, the hats, take centre stage.

Newness for The Kollective and Gothmas by Gaslight

This stunning gown is available at the new round of The Kollective.  I like the way the textures are mixed on most of the dresses, and I really love the back cut-out.  You get all 12 textures on the hud, which is great value, and fun for someone like me who loves playing with huds :).

The gorgeous necklace and earrings I am wearing is by AZE for Gothmas by Gaslight which is on until January 5th.  The photos really can't do them justice, however, as they are filled with magically swirling snowflakes - clean snow in the silver and gold, dirty in the copper and gunmental!  I have added a really pretty ring by Cae.

I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew here, but decided to do one blog post showing lots of new goodies and some old goodies too, both clothes and decor.  I am still decorating my new home so this arrangement will no doubt move around some, and then some more.

As a lover of things vintage, this sewing machine dresser caught my eye - this and and the easy chair in the pic above are both from the new round of The Kollective, which is the Home & Garden edition.  The dresser comes in two wood colours, and has a texture change hud for the lace, mirror frame and base.

 Again, I loved the vintage style of these capris and their matching top so added some hair from Truth which also has the vintage vibe.

The top has a very unusual addition, the cute little wings shown below, fitting of course as ZsaZsa is an angel.  Aren't I RJ?  He is my sl brother btw, and I know he won't read this, but trust me, he would confirm how angelic I am :).
