#473 Smoke Signals

Were you aware that you are only able to add 38 attachments to your avvie?  You'll never use all of them, right?  I thought so too, till I realised that while I was putting this outfit together, I was using 36 out of 38 - and this doesn't include the huds I use when taking pics (which are listed below the credits).

Onto the outfit - I love love love these new dresses from Doc Eldritch, which are a Maitreya Lara exclusive.  I particularly the ombre style - ombre isnt the right word but my brain is tired and refuses to offer up the right one right now.  I love all the colours available but continue my love affair with purple, not sure what is going on here but the slightest hint of purple has me rummaging through my inventory for more awesome purple-ness.  Anyway, as it was a bit nippy outside I added one of Doc's leather jackets to the outfit so that Zsa would stop shaking long enough for me to take my pics.  This jacket is compatible with all 3 Belleza bodies, Maiteya Lara and Slink Physique, as well as fitmesh.

By the way, Zsa wants me to tell you that she doesn't really smoke, she just borrowed a pixel ciggie for a short time for the taking of these pics.  She doesn't however want me to tell you that she did take a small drag and coughed so much we almost had to abandon the shoot :).

I get such a kick out of being able to play with shadows!  I still have a lot to learn, and a lot of playing with Lumipro too, so my posts are taking a little longer than usual to finish, but hopefully in the end it will be worth it.   

My skin is new from 7 Deadly Skins at The Makeover Room.  My outfit comprises 3 items from Lavian's new capsule wardrobe, Claudia.   I absolutely love the selection of textures and colours that run through the set, accessible via hud, meaning you can mix and match to your heart's content.  I have shown two options from just this top, skirt and shoes.

#456 It all starts with a smile

I named this post in honour of the beautiful sim where I took these pictures - Kaelyn Alecto has very kindly opened up her sim for people to take pictures or just hang out.  There is so much to see and lots of surprises around each corner, I am sure I will be taking more pics there soon.   

My jeans are brand new from Just Because and are available at Uber.  They come in a plethora of great colours and each colour comes with a hud allowing you to change the belt colour.  Of course as always with Annie Melson, the jeans are compatible with a large selection of mesh bodies, plus standard sizing.  As is my jacket from DE Designs, which comes with the integral t-shirt and includes a hud giving you a choice of 6 t-shirt and 2 hardware colours.  If you buy the fatpack (and Doc's prices are so reasonable, why wouldn't you!) of course you get a hud allowing you to change the jacket colours as well.    Both the jeans and the jacket fit perfectly on my Maitreya Lara, and are an absolute joy to wear. 

I am again wearing the boots from Essenz that are currently half price for Mix - I blogged them with a close up here.  My skin is WoW's latest release, exclusively at the Bombshell Event - Delia is exceptionally pretty, and available in 6 tones.

#325 Skin Fair 2015 - The Plastik

I always look forward to visiting The Plastik skins stall at Skin Fair, and this year, as always, they do not disappoint.  I am showing you all tones in the fabulous Immortalia range and without any extras, because Vae's skins are truly beautiful and deserve to be shown as they are straight from the box.  I am blown away by the little details such as the veins showing underneath the skin giving the appearance of delicacy.  

You get an amazing amount of extras in the box, eyebrow shapes, freckles for both body and face, freckle appliers, no nipple option, and a ton of make-up options,  I will definitely be having a good play with all the goodies when the Skin Fair is over and I am positive Immortalia will appear again on this blog.

One thing I really love about blogging is how a post can emerge from the smallest item - this time it was the Adoness mermaid eyes from the current round of Genre, and the Hopscotch poses also at Genre .  Although I don't do that many fantasy posts, I really enjoy the challenge and have great fun putting them together, but they take a lot longer than an ordinary post, at least for me.  This one involved days of hunting for various bits and pieces to wear, though I did pick up a lot at Genre, and then scouting round for somewhere to do the shoot (not to mention a whole abandoned shoot because I wasn't happy with the photos)

The mermaid eyes are also available in violet.  The poses come with the trident props, and in versions for both legs and tails - there are five poses/props as shown in the first photo and collage.

Moulin Rouge meets Video Games

This gorgeous mesh gown is the Sakide item for Moulin Rouge which opened March 15.  Also available in black, the colour is beautifully rich and as always with Sakide, the texturing is faultless. 

As this gown exudes old Hollywood glamour, I paired it with one of my favourite ever hairstyles, which was the Truth gacha prize at a previous round of The Arcade.  My skin is my newly discovered favourite from The Plastik at The Skin Fair, which I first drooled over here, and which I love so much I might never take it off!

One reason I love the huge events in SL is the discovery of new creators - and although Plastik is not a new name for me, for some reason I have never really looked at their skin range.  That changed the second I tried on a demo of this skin, Astrali, which is exclusive to the Skin Fair 2014, and is absolutely beautiful.  I love every tone without exception, and there is not a single thing I dislike about Astrali.  Two problems I have with a lot of skin ranges in SL is that a large majority of them look too young on me, and the lips - not so with Astrali, I feel very comfortable in her, and the lips are perfect!

There are 7 tones to choose from, I have shown 6 of them in the basic skin, and then Jaxis with a few of the multitude of make-up options.

Each skin pack includes mote than enough goodies for you to make Astrali your own:

3 skins (basic, toned down and cover-up)
