I love this outfit from Sn@tch, and can see myself shopping there a lot more in future. 

Their vendor system is very different to any others I have come across - you choose the size you want, and you get that size item in a selection of colours (plus of course an alpha) - in this case I got 8 colours of the skirt, and 10 of the tank.  It goes without saying that you must try a demo first, even if you have bought a skirt or top previously, and lay off the pixel cream cakes so you don't burst the seams of your chosen size :).

Twisted Color Challenge: Week 31, Velvet Jazz

I have been having a major inventory overhaul to get myself really organised for blogging, so have been slacking a bit post-wise, I still have to do last week's challenge, but here is week 31.  

This lovely cocktail dress is the latest release from Hudson's.  Candace Hudson somehow manages to combine mesh and flexi perfectly - I don't know what her secret is, but I hope she keeps on doing it!  I have tried mesh and flexi combos from other designers but have found they just don't work.  I am wearing the violet here, it is also available in peach and black.

The bodice on this dress matches the mauve pretty well (even if it doesn't look like it does!) and the yellow is picked up in the skirt.

I love updos, and finding new (to me) designers, so when I found this hairstyle from ISON at the Hair Fair, I snapped it up, and am sure it will become one of my staples. There is a good selection in the colour pack too, which I really like.

Twisted Color Challenge - Week 27, Cabbage Patch Forest (aka "The Schoolmarm"

On my trawl/stalk through sl blogs, I found out about the Twisted Color Challenge, and thought I would jump in and give it a go, even though this week's "Cabbage Patch Forest" is a bit of a tough one for someone who rates green only behind orange in my most disliked colours.  Anyway here is my effort, and when you see the pics, you will understand why I have subtitled this post :).

It is the irresistible lure of fat packs (even though I KNOW I will never wear all colours) that meant I had this outfit in my inventory - I bought the fatpack of this Cracked Mirror set at FaMESHed sometime last year, and not surprisingly (to me), the green has never seen light of day till now

.

The outfit itself is beautifully made, with the subtle creasing making it look very realistic.

I have no idea why I am wearing two "lippies", obviously having a mad "add" instead of "wear" day.  I actually had to do this shoot twice as I also realised I had two pairs of earrings on when I came to fill in the credits, and when I looked closely, there was no way I could get away with that!  

Well actually this was the third shoot, I did a whole shoot in an entirely different outfit yesterday but decided I hated it and binned the whole lot.  I blame green!
